there are no lights going down the 20 stairs to get to the house, also when it rained the dirt on the steps turned to mud and the handdyman slipped and almost fell, the screened in porch door doesn't lock making the room accessible to animals and anyone who wants to enter also one of the sliding glass doors doesn't lock either. The house had 4 tvs but none of the remotes worked thus nothing could be watched . This property is rented out by 5 seasons Homestay. Not by a person. very unhappy with customer service. WE have stayed at least 5 Vrbos have an excellent ratings and this is the worst one ever.

The kitchen had condiments and some things for cooking. There wasn’t any fire starter to start a fire in the pit even though that was a selling point. The communication with the hosts was terrible after check in. The TV didn’t work. There weren’t many clear directions on getting sound systems to work. Multiple light switches and knobs and not knowing what goes to where. Not all doors locked. And the dock was not as expected. You have to walk down a rock retaining wall to get to it. Felt unsafe and only active/able bodied people would be able to get to it. The house had sheets but no extra comforters or blankets.

Great property & location! Loved the waterfront access for fishing & kayaking! Relaxing screened in porch to enjoy the outdoor views without the bugs! Great communication with host, who answered several of our questions promptly. Highly recommend this property!

Great location a lot to do. Easy to relax. Described as pet friendly but a lot of restrictions on pet activity. Easy check in and check out. Seems like the home needs some upkeep. Pictures don’t reflect actual condition Overall fun time with family.

Relaxing getaway

Stayed for a few days to combine a mini vacation while visiting family in the area. Very relaxing vibe looking out on the river/lake. We had some family over for a BBQ and it was a good setup for that. Kitchen had the basics. A few maintenance issues but hosts were communicative. I enjoyed the few days of R&R. I am familiar with the area but North Liberty has grown a lot and has a lot to offer nearby, or it's a short trip to Iowa City.

Great Lakeside Getaway

This house was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway by the lake. The place was clean, cozy, and well-stocked, with a beautiful kitchen, washer, and a great fireplace for chilly nights. We loved the hot tub and spent a lot of time outside grilling and kayaking. The lake access made it super easy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay with some great outdoor perks.

Perfect, family and pet friendly!

We really enjoyed our stay. Relaxing, indoor and outdoor games, beautiful views, truly pet and kid friendly, kitchen had everything we needed and lots of great little details. We were looking for a staycation. We didn’t have to leave for anything.

Wonderful view- peaceful

My husband and I were visiting my sister in Iowa City with our dogs. The house was nice and perfect for our visit. There were a few minor things that I mentioned to the host, so that it could be addressed before the next renters. The Kayaks could not be accessed easily since the dock appeared to have been pulled somewhat on shore and was unstable. The yard was sprayed with chemicals the day before we left so we couldn't take our dogs out- we had to walk up the street which was ok but they should have forwarned us- so the communication score was less than perfect.

The house was very nice as described. View was amazing. House is well stocked with many additional touches. Robes and slippers for hot tub are one example. Kitchen had everything you could need. Great setup. Highly recommend. Owner was very responsive. Thank you.

Beautiful view from a cozy, well appointed home.

We very much enjoyed our stay for a long weekend while we were visiting family in the area. Our adult son was with us so it was nice to have two separate living areas where we could spend time but also have a bit more privacy than most shared spaces offer. We loved the digital board game and shared several rounds of monopoly! The view is top notch and the kitchen is well appointed. Comfy beds! Ignore the unfriendly signs from the neighbor - we never saw him despite signs he leaves near the entrance. It's worth noting that it is VERY dark if you arrive at night - we used our cellphone flashlight to navigate the stairs.

Our family of 6 adults and 2 dogs really enjoyed our stay! There is a lot to enjoy here. The hot tub is great, several outdoor games to play. I enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and making s'mores in the fire pit. Would recommend this Vrbo listing to friends!

Amazing Property

The property is absolutely beautiful. I wish it was warmer when we stayed and would love to go back in the summer. The hosts were easy to get a hold of with questions and replied promptly. The kids still enjoyed the outdoors with plenty of activities with outdoor games. The thoughtfulness put into the decor and snack box had all of so happy.

You can go home again!

I lived in this home once and I as excited to get the opportunity to stay where I once lived. My grandchildren loved the screen porch, I felt right at home! Relaxing, comfortable, enjoyable!
