The "Alte Schmiede" is located in the former village smithy, which was built in 1832 by Mr. Feddermann. That's how the street got its name.

The daughter of Feddermann married Wilke Ackermann who built the "Haus Ackermann" in 1862 next door. From 1862-1953 he and later his sons operated the village smithy. At this time the village smithy had up to 150 horses on "Hufbeschlag". In today's kitchen and dining area has been forged.

The forge fire was in the still existing, converted fireplace next to the kitchen. In the anteroom, the horses were harnessed.

In 1963, Karl Ackermann, grandson of Wilke Ackermann, built a restaurant in the forge, which was no longer in use. This remained until 1985 in the family business and was then sold to Kathe & Hans Ricks.

Since 2003, the family Ackermann manages the house independently and handed it over on 01. 01. 2007 to faithful hands to Susanna & Björn Lahmann. With the initially named Bar, the Cocktailschmiede and after specialization in the segment of Whiskeys, the Whiskeyplaza, led both to 2019 the catering trade. From 01. 03. 2020 it became the holiday apartment Alte Schmiede.

Vorherige Kommunikation lief schlecht. Wohnung nicht so wie auf dem Grundriss. Zimmer mit 2 Enzelbetten nicht wie dargestellt. Reinigung schlecht- Terrasse dreckig. Rest ok

Die Wohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet allerdings waren diverse Stühle und der Tisch kaputt bez. nicht in Ordnung. Die Sauberkeit ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Vor der Wohnung standen überfüllte Mülltonnen und verdreckte andere Ablagemöglichkeiten. Zigaretten standen in einem großen Glas rum. Es sah verwahrlost aus. Dadurch konnte ein Fenster nach außen gar nicht geöffnet werden da man Ungeziefer (Ratten) befürchten musste.Obwohl die Wohnung nicht belegt war hat der Vermieter auf Anfragen nicht geantwortet Der Code um in die Wohnung zu gelangen wurde genau um 16.01. freigeschaltet.Da das Wetter an diesem Tag sehr ungemütlich war, fanden wir ( 6 Frauen) das als nicht Kundenfreundlich. So etwas haben wir in 40 Jahren nicht erlebt!!Petra VossHamburg

Die einst von uns sehr gefeierte Wohnung ist als solche top. Lage, Zuschnitt, Ausstattung und Außenbereich alles generell sehr gut.Aktuell wirkt sie leider insgesammt etwas ungepflegt und runter gerockt.Mehrere defekte (unnutzbare) Stühle, durchgelegene Matratzen, eine an verschiedenen Stellen beschädigte Esstischplatte an der man sich die Kleidung oder mehr beschädigen kann. Schimmel in einem der Schlafzimmer, kein Besen sowie ein unbrauchbarer Staubsauger, zu kleine Badetücher, usw. kaputter Fön, Probleme mit Wasser und Druck! Und leider Katastrophale Kommunikation! Die Wohnung wurde einmal liebevoll hergerichtet und dann von der Liebe verlassen. So unser Eindruck.Zudem eine zähe Kommunikation.Sehr schade.

Modern eingerichtete schöne große Wohnung. Alles vorhanden. ( Küchenutensilien, Tabs für Geschirrspüler,Spüli,Bettwäsche, Handtücher)Toilettenpapier mussten wir kaufen 2Rollen waren da ( aber kein Problem) Super gefallen hat uns auch , das man absolut zentral war, aber es in der Wohnung super ruhig war. Auch die schöne überdachte Terrasse war klasse! In den Doppelbetten Zimmern jeweils ein Fernseher und noch 1 großer im Wohnzimmer.Normale Gebrauchsspuren an manchen Stühlen, was normal ist.Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen! Super!

Zum zweiten Mal in der Ferienwohnung gewesen. Haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider war die Wohnung zum Übergabezeitpunkt nicht fertig gereinigt. Das sollte bei einer Übergabe erst um 16 Uhr nicht der Fall sein. Zudem sollte ab und zu das Inventar überprüft werden. Ein defekter Esstischstuhl und undichter Syphon, welcher in Eigenregie repariert wurde.

Die Wohnung war gut, allerdings nicht gut gereinigt. Auf den Sockelleisten lag dicker Staub, die Terrasse war überhaupt nicht sauber, die habe ich erst mal von dem schwarzen Staub gereinigt. Die Kinder hatten schwarze Füße. Vor der Haustür wird wohl nie gefegt, Spinnweben ohne Ende. Das habe ich auch erledigt. Hinter den Mülltonnen liegt dicker Dreck und Reste. Schade.

Man kann es nicht anders sagen: die Wohnung ist ein Traum. Sehr sauber, reichlich Platz, gute Kücheneinrichtung, bequeme Betten, schöne ruhige Terrasse, zentrale Lage mit allen Einkaufs- und Restaurantmöglichkeiten. Schöne Wohnung, schlechter Service

Zum Check in: Wir haben bis eine halbe Stunde vorm Check in nichts vom Reiseveranstalter oder Makler oder vom Besitzer gehört. Ich habe mich oft gefragt, ob ich auf einen Betrüger hereingefallen bin. Am letzten Tag hat die Haustür dann noch geklemmt und meine Tochter stand alleine draußen und wir waren drinnen gefangen. Wie auch die Woczuvortelefonisch niemand zu erreichen.

Schöne Wohnung in guter Lage

Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und perfekt gelegen. Sie bietet für acht Personen viel Platz. Besonders der große Esstisch hat uns gut gefallen. Handtücher sind vorhanden. Diese Angabe fehlt leider bei den Ausstattungsmerkmalen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr beschwerlich. Auf Rückfragen bekommt man einfach keine Antwort. Er reagiert erst, wenn man die Hotline von fewo-direkt einschaltet. Die Abflüsse beider Handwaschbecken liefen in einem Bad nicht ab und der Toilettensitz war locker. Das war bereits in vorherigen Bewertungen bemängelt worden. Trotz Nachfrage unsererseits und Zusicherung des Vermieters ist dies leider nicht behoben worden.
