My recent stay presented a mix of experiences.
On a disappointing note, the refrigerator in my room was extremely dirty and unsanitary. There was some kind of liquid spilled inside, and it was so unpleasant that I actually had to clean it myself. This lack of basic cleanliness was a significant issue.
Looking at the positives, I've stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years. I'm very pleased to report that the staff service has significantly improved compared to my previous visits. The current staff are much more attentive and helpful.
While the building and facilities are older, they are well-maintained and kept clean. The onsen bathhouse is also older, but it is impeccably clean and well-maintained, offering a very comfortable and enjoyable bathing experience.
The breakfast remains a definite highlight. In my opinion, it's easily among the best I've had at hotels in the Niseko area, with excellent variety and quality.
It's worth noting, however, that the accommodation cost has also increased considerably compared to when I stayed here in the past. While improvements in service and dining are welcome, it makes the overall value proposition something to consider.
Finally, given that this property operates under the "Hilton" name, I truly expect much better attention to fundamental cleanliness standards, particularly for something like the in-room refrigerator. This oversight was the most regrettable part of my stay.
