Reunion
A gathering of friends at Camp Lou Henry Hoover brought the four of us to the house. We had a wonderful stay despite the rain! Mary and John were great, super helpful.

A lot to be desired.
Almost had to call fire department about electrical short in exhaust fan over gas range. I knew they would order out of house but cooler heads prevailed. Burners on gas range are way too hot even at low settings. Had to continuously remove pans because of this. Outside of house was extreme covered with black mold and railing covered with green mold. It was so gross people wouldn’t use it. It wasAdvertised as having a king bed plus a queen bed which turned out to be a standard double. Try sleeping on a standard double when you are 6ft3.

Lake house
Plenty of room and very comfortable for 8 ppl. Game room for the kids and wonderful stove to handle large meals. Some cooking utensils were missing but we managed ok. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed some good fishing. Shaded grassy shore area accessible via a wide trail which leads to the dock. Overall great stay.

Graduation getaway
The house was spacious with fabulous views. I was disappointed that we didn't get to enjoy it more, because we were so busy. It is a very steep decline getting to the lake and an incline getting back up, but a great workout!

not what was advertised/promised - no body prepared for our arrival
Evolve is useless and did not check out this property at all. We stayed for a wedding nearby. The location was great. The lock box on door was electronic- we did not know how to use it. But we did reach someone immediately. There are two lock boxes and two doors. The place was pretty with nice views. But I really do not think anyone has checked out the place and the place was not ready for us at all. There was more appliances/and things just not up to full standards that was acceptable. The house was dark- even with the entire back wall of windows. Over half the light bulbs in the house were not working. There are no lights in the living room area only in the dining room which blocks the view with the stairs. 1st Floor: The fireplace does not work/turn on. The nice Viking stove DOES NOT WORK. the dishwasher does not clean the dishes. The floor was dirty and there was no broom to sweep the floor anywhere. The garbage pail was filthy all around the top. The kitchen stools are very hard and uncomfortable. The frying pan is not non stick and we had to cook on the top burner only because the oven did not work. and the dishwasher does not clean any dishes. We tried twice (and neither time worked. and besides that we were only supplied with two pods to use the dishwasher- We stayed for more days. They did not even supply any coffee. The kitchen was really not well stocked. We thought we could BBQ. But there was a sign the tank is on the shed. no shed around. so when we contacted - the tank was in the garaged. It was EMPTY!!! so basically we could not cook. The lawn furniture was not put on the deck at all it was stacked up in the corner of the garage. We booked this place months ahead of time - they had plenty of time to prepare for us coming. All the beds only had a box string no mattress. Honestly not the most comfortable beds I have slept on. and the housecleaner AGAIN is not very efficient. They put on one bed the fitted sheet and on the other bed the top sheet. No bed had both. You could see the dust under the beds from the sunlight- never swept under the beds. The bathrooms did not fill up the supplies on the walls. The top bathroom had conditioner only (but wall unit was for shampoo/conditions/soap) downstairs bathroom only had conditioner. We ran out of toilet paper too. The bathroom downstairs also did not have any mat on the floor so when you come out of the shower you slip. I moved the bedroom mat into the bathroom. I would like a refund

Wonderful spot
Beautiful property and views. House has everything you could need and easily accommodated our two families of four. Lake is clear and quiet, perfect if you have a canoe or kayak to bring or want to fish off the dock. The lake itself is a long steep walk from the house. Walking back up from the lake is a serious workout! This is not a negative to the property at all but maybe should be taken into consideration for those with mobility issues who plan to utilize the lake a lot. You get really gorgeous views but tired legs! Overall a perfect escape.

Wonderful house and view
The house does great service to the views of Swartswood Lake - every bedroom looks out to the lake, and the huge doors/windows in the main living area made it hard to actually get folks to go outside because it was so comfy and beautiful from inside! The deck overlooking the lake, the grill equipped with propane, the spacious and well-appointed kitchen, the comfy beds and nice baths, made for a wonderful place to gather with family for the week. Swimming in the clear lake off the dock, stargazing at night, and the peace and quiet were such treats. Unfortunately, kayak rentals were only on the weekends, so having access to through out the week would have sweetened our time there. We would love to come back some day!

Amazing Lake Getaway
We stayed at this house over a long weekend in February and had the best time. The house is large and spotless and highlights include the beautiful open concept kitchen with a huge fridge and beautiful stove; the unbelievable lake views from the living room and upstairs bedroom; the convenient laundry room and garage; all the bedrooms including one with 2 bunk beds (4 beds!). The house is a 2 minute walk from NJ's first state park and our little group (4 adults and 4 kids from ages 1-3) had a blast there even in the freezing cold. There are 3 playgrounds, a beach area, hiking trails, and I imagine it is even more amazing in the summer (with swimming, boats, picnics, etc). Scott our host was super receptive and responsive to texts and even drove over paper towel and TP when we needed more. In short, 5 star stay!
