Room was clean but bathroom not so much. The staff who checked me in was a bit rude maybe because he had a lot on his plate but I still think you may want to place your most customer service minded ones at the front desk. House keeping staff was great, quick to respond and address issues. Shuttle to Airport (EWR) every 20 minutes. The driver was so kind. Helped me with my luggage and dropped me off at the right terminal.

Upon arrival, the room we were placed in was dirty which was disappointing but the front desk did their best to accommodate us and move us to another room that was clean. We did hear yelling 2-3 days in a row coming from the halls, couldn’t make out if it was a guest or hotel staff. The stay was average. They did mention a restaurant in the hotel which wasn’t really a restaurant at all and was misled to believe so. It was basically the breakfast lounge and there was one working who had a headphone in the whole time, the food was disappointing especially for how expensive it was and the drinks are not refilled. The service is really bad and would not recommend it.

Pluses: The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! Lots of choices to eat! Minuses: The refrigerator in the room was leaking something watery, but was thicker than water(oil?). The corner shelf in the shower was broken in two spots, wouldn’t hold anything more than a bar of soap. We were in a suite and many of the white walls had black scuff marks all over them. Some were almost as high as the light switch. Very unappealing for a fairly nice hotel. Also, the tissue container only had a few tissues in it, so we had to use toilet paper.

Everything was ok except for the airport shuttle pick-up. Every other hotel’s customers were picked up at P4. First problem is… to know where to go for pick up, one has to call the Comfort Inn front desk and if the number is busy, you are out of luck ! The instructions are not clear because there is NO clear designated pick-up spot. The pick-up area was on another floor, outside and beside a random police cubicle. To get there you have to cross the busy airport street with all your luggage. God forbid it’s raining like the night I landed. Not a good experience at all ! Comfort Inn should arrange for customers to be picked up at P4 or somewhere else easy to get to and with a clear sign so customers can easily locate the area for pickup.

The staff in the resepsjon could be more friendly and put smile on their face. I also lost 50 US Dollar on a taxi cause one of the employes was constant in the phone. They told me to call them for free shuffel bus after my landing and I called 5 times without any respons.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable but the service wasn’t great. Waited a long time for someone to show up to the front desk to check in as well as check out. The breakfast was super basic and the staff did not attend to the items needed to be restocked. Waited about 30 minutes for plastic utensils and another 15 for eggs.

Our restroom/ toliet flush was not working! The toilet was clogged. No one came over to fix or altleast take a look. We had to suffer staying in the same room for 3 days. The HOTEL staff looks high on drugs and smells foul. Very very rude Staff.
