Hibiscus house is a two bedroom home on a gorgeous white sandy beach. This oceanfront home is located in Fernandez Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches of the planet, a treasured vacation spot of the island. This tranquil paradise is perfect for a laidback relaxing vacation, spending time with friends and family, away from places frequented by many. Explore the neighboring creek with our kayak, paddle board or snorkel around the little island.
The house is a real gem, a rustic stone house with a master bedroom and the attached guest room. Both bedrooms have queen beds, and bathrooms with shower. The spacious living area with a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals. Ice-maker, blender for your chilled drinks. The house is built with open shutters to provide natural ventilation supported by ceiling fans. Only a guest bedroom is air conditioned. Washer and dryer will make your stay more comfortable. You find a BBQ to create your favorite meal. With the Starlink provided internet you can stream your favorite movies on the TV. You can relax in inflatable floating chairs, venture into the neighboring creek with mangroves on the two seater kayak or the paddle board to watch turtles and baby rays. The creek is perfect for bone fishing.
Hibiscus House is nestled in a very private community of Fernandez Bay, conveniently located close to the New Bight airport, The Fish Fry, Alvernia Car Rental and convenient store.
Cat Island is accessible by air from Nassau on Western Air or from Fort Lauderdale on Makers Air.

The house is fantastic! There is a Nespresso and a drip coffeemaker. There were a few spices and plenty of pans and oven cookware. It is wonderful to be a short walk from the Fernandez Bay resort for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The the washing machine and dryer were handy to have onsite. You can pack light! And ... the house has an RO system for drinking water which is great. We all fell in love with the house.

The house was fully equipped and clean. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t already there. The location was 2 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from 2 very well equipped grocery stores. We’ve stayed on a lot of Bahamian islands and have to say this one had the most up to date rental cars and access to groceries and amenities. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning installed one bedroom that worked very well. We did miss air conditioning in the main areas. We took our own firestick that work very well with the starlink internet. Owners and property management was excellent.
