Relaxing respite from Cappadocia crowds

This hotel is on a quiet side street. Although it doesn't have views, it has a wonderful ambience and is a great place to rest and relax between adventures. There is a fantastic restaurant upstairs. Parking was easy and always available.

We had an amazing 2 night stay in the family room. The hotel is full of charm, as are the rooms. The staff is super friendly and helpful! And best of all the food at the on site restaurant is spectacular! We ate dinner there twice, as well as breakfast. All of us (two adults and two kids) had great meals! The hotel itself is in a nice location as well, with just a 2 minute walk to Uchisar Castle. We will be happy to stay here again next time we’re back!

Fantastic stay

We had a great stay at the Sakli Konak. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The Location is great, not as touristy as Göreme and has plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The hotel restaurant was excellent, again the service was amazing and the breakfast was fantastic! The hike from the hotel to Göreme through the hills was a highlight for us, you can enjoy a cold beer in the town before walking or busing back up again. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia.

What a delight!

This delightful small hotel in the shadow of Uchisar Castle is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. We finally arrived at midnight (*so* late, thanks, Pegasus) to be met by a lovely woman who showed us our beautiful room and offered to make us food in case we'd not eaten! We accepted tea gratefully (later saw we had kettle, cups and teas ready) and it duly arrived with large slices of home-made cake . . .The wonderful arch-roofed room itself on the ground floor was comfortable, with a great bed and decorated in local style (gorgeous long onyx candleholders). The hamam-style bathroom with walk-in shower had all necessary toiletries. The wifi was fast and powerful. That was topped by the best and biggest breakfast! Normal Turkish breakfast - wonderfully fluffy fresh bread, several different sorts of cheeses (including freshly grilled hellim), Turkish salami, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, black and green olives, a choice of a dozen home-made jams (the milk jam and pomegranate were extraordinary), then Riza, the proprietor, offered eggs, then hot borek fresh from the pan arrived – and that’s not mentioning cake and fruit . . . We booked dinner at once! Riza and assistant Elif couldn't do enough: Riza not only suggested a route for our day’s exploration but drew us a map and helped us select the right tour for the following day. Airport transfers were booked; nothing was too much trouble. We'll be back.

The owner of the hotel tool obvious pride in his work and spent a lot of time with me to ensure I got the most out of my short stay. The restaurant upstairs served the best meals of my entire trip to Turkey.

One of the best hotels!

We loved this hotel. It is a family owned hotel and everything was beautiful. Reza is such a wonderful person. He is fun and helpful. Food was amazing, one of the best food. Staff are sweet and helpful! Definitely want to go back!

Great Experience and Hospitality!!

We stayed at the Hotel 3 nights. A very nice experience with incredible breakfast, helpfull information when we need it, and amazing hospitality in all our stay. Of course I will recomend this place for friends and family! You have all the information that you needs with them to enjoy your stay in Capadoccia!!! I hope we can come back soon!

Aşırı sıcak bir karşılama ve güler yüz ile karşılandık. Herşey çok güzeldi özellikle ilgileri oteli çok kolaylıkla bulduk konumu mükemmeldi. Tek kötü yani taş evin içinde telefon çekmemesi oldu ama o da sorun değildi pek yatmaya gittiğimiz için sadece kesinlikle öneririm.

Juste une nuit passée dans cet établissement, mais très sympa. Chambre dans la pierre, au frais et au calme. Le responsable est adorable, joyeux et à l’écoute. Un petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix de la chambre, qui était incroyable ! Beaucoup de choix salés ou sucrés. L’avantage de l’hotel, c’est sa proximité avec le chateau (seulement 4min à pied!!) qui permet d’avoir une magnifique vue sur la Cappadoce, Gorëme, et les mongolfières! On recommande à 100%
