Nestled in the hills facing Nelson s iconic Lighthouse, with a view over Nelson harbour, to the boulder bank and Tasman Bay, this 2018 NZ Architect Award winning home is quiet, relaxed and easy to live in.
The double living area opens on to a large wraparound sunny deck facing the sea, with the windows opening right back to let the tree canopy
come into the space. You will adore the apartment like feel, the eclectic style, and a home that feels warm, welcoming and intimate.
5 minutes walk down the hill for a swim or to the waterfront restaurants, 20 minutes to central city or Tahunanui Beach, the house can accommodate up to five guests and will be ideal for a professional couple, couples or a
family, looking to experience Nelson over the holiday season.
**Special conditions & notes**:
- Strictly no party, gatherings or venue use. No Smoking. Pets are not permitted.
- This is a personal home, made available to guests on an occasional basis. This allows you access to a superb & well-equipped home with the trade-off that storage may be required for owner belongings.
- There is a beehive at the back of the garden and also a worm farm.
**Payment, Bond/Security Deposit and Cancellation**:
- A 30% deposit secures your stay with the balance due 3 weeks prior to your arrival (full payment will be required if booking within 3 weeks of arrival).
- Three weeks prior to your arrival (or immediately if booking within 3 weeks of arrival), you’ll need to provide a card authority for the bond/security deposit via our secure online check in process.
- Cancel anytime up until 3 weeks prior to arrival for any reason and you’ll pay no more than 30% of the booking total.
- Where compassionate circumstances for cancellation exist, we’ll be happy to look at further flexibility, usually in the form of postponement of your stay, or a credit towards future stay dates.

Lovely property with excellent views out to sea in an area full of native trees with lots of bidlife. House had a large deck for outdoor eating and sitting. Great place to relax with lovely nearby cafe and bars and only a few minutes drive to several large excellent super markets. Nelson has great art Gallery and galleries and wineries within easy drive.

Fantastic House!
We are a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids 14, 9 & 7. The house was incredible. Better than the photos! It was so nice...we didnt actually want to leave and do activities! We just wanted to sit on that balcony and gaze at the view. The house was perfectly set out and very well equipped. Everything that we needed was there. The 14yo had the sofa bed, which he said was very comfortable. The sheets were easy to find. Beach towels were provided. It was a very enjoyable stay and wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely return to this house when we come back to Nelson and recommend it to our friends.

Fantastic home away from home
Quite simply one of the best places we’ve stayed. Exceptionally well appointed, fantastic location, lovely feel, great art - a real home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay a would not hesitate to stay again when we next visit Nelson.

Beautiful home in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay in the lovely Arthouse in Stepneyville.
It is very conveniently placed between Nelson and Richmond and close to some lovely restaurants. The view from the deck is wonderful and we enjoyed a number lay afternoon drinks enjoying it. This is a great spot, highly recommend!
