Welcome to Tyro Slopeside Vista! This chalet is located in the heart of Wintergreen, and literally across the street from the Tyro ski slope access. The property features a hot tub and barrel sauna, 2 propane fire pits, and outdoor dining for 10. Inside, you'll love the soaring ceiling with a light-drenched open concept living room / dining / kitchen. The game room downstairs also doubles as the 5th bedroom. Plus, pet friendly!

Tyro Slopeside Vista is located in the heart of beautiful Wintergreen in Virginia, which has tons to do for all ages, year-round. Access to Tyro ski slope is literally steps away (exit driveway, turn left, and ski access is 1 house down on the right). All the dining and entertainment at Wintergreen is just a few minutes' drive. Some of the best hiking trails in the state are off the Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes from the home), plus there are other great trails right in Wintergreen. Also nearby are two sandy-beach-entrance lakes plus a community pool for swimming, and over dozen wineries, breweries, and distilleries- all within a 30 minute drive.

The house has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, with the layout as follows:

Outside:

- The main deck features propane firepit with comfy seating, outdoor dining for 10, gas grill, and Blackstone grill (propane provided for firepit and grills)
- Behind the house is a covered gazebo with brand new hot tub and sauna, plus additional adirondack chair seating and room for cornhole in the driveway
- Below the main deck on the ground level is an additional propane firepit, bench swing, and a small putting green

Main level:

- Living room with soaring ceilings, gas fireplace, and big screen smart TV
- Dining area for 8, plus room for 4 more at the kitchen bar
- Fully stocked kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances, and bar seating
- BR1: Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom. The kids will love the Harry Potter themed closet in this bedroom!
- BR2: Queen bedroom
- Hall full bath
- Laundry room

Upper level:

- BR3: Master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom.
- BR4: Queen bedroom (*Note: the bathroom options for guests staying in BR4 are to go downstairs where there is a hall full bath, or to go through BR3 to use the ensuite bath there)

Lower level:

- BR5 / Game Room, featuring shuffleboard, air hockey, darts, arcade machine, and a large smart TV with seating. For sleeping, there is a twin-over-queen bunk bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed
- Full bathroom

Other things to note:

- Tyro Slopeside Vista is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $100 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night).
- Wintergreen offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course, golfing, and much more.
- Motorcycles are not permitted at Wintergreen Resort
- The driveway can fit 5-6 vehicles. There is additional overflow parking available at Wintergreen if needed.
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and deck.
- The living room, downstairs bedroom/game room, and all other bedrooms have smart TVs where you can access whatever streaming services you subscribe to. We do not subscribe to cable.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Linens and towels provided
- Guests can enjoy free community pool access in the summer season (though the HOA rules stipulate no more than 6 guests at a time, and the permitted hours are 2-6pm).
- Pack n play, high chair, and kid dishes provided
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.
