Welcome to our mountain top home, just minutes from the heart of the resort, connected to walking trails, and with spectacular views. Our home is ideal for families, getaways, exploring the brew and wine scene, and hiking and skiing.

When you come in the front door you will immediately experience the updated coziness and attention to detail in this home.

MAIN LEVEL

The Main Level features an open floor plan kitchen, dining, living space, and a half bath. The dining has seating for 8+ with additional bar seating for 5. The kitchen is well-equipped with updated finishes and all of the cookware/appliances you could need for a home-cooked meal. All of the basic necessities are provided- coffee, creamer, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper. The living room boasts vaulted ceilings, wall-to-wall mountain views, a wood-burning fireplace (please bring your own firewood), and access to the scenic deck. The Roku TV has all of the standard apps- just bring your own login. There is a custom-made, detailed GuideBook that provides information about both the house and activities, food, wine, beer, hiking, etc in the local area.

BEDROOMS

There are 4 bedrooms, each with its own updated private full bath.

⊹Bedroom 1 (top floor) features a queen bed and a 3/4 bathroom.
⊹Master Bedroom (middle floor) features a king bed, a full bathroom with a double vanity, a walk-in closet, and a private deck with mountain views.
⊹Bedroom 3 (middle floor) features a queen bed and a private bathroom
⊹Bedroom 4 (bottom floor) features a queen bed, twin bunk beds, and a private
bathroom.
⊹All 4 en suite bathrooms have a hair dryer.
⊹A pack-n-play with sheets is available for use.

OUTDOOR SPACE

A short 100 yard walk right up the hill from the home is a private community picnic area with gorgeous views of the mountains and valley. Enjoy an unforgettable mountain sunset as you relax and play bocci ball and corn hole.
You will also have access to the outdoor Chestnut Springs and Rhodes Farms pools located nearby (Memorial Day through Labor Day)

Girls trip in the Mountains!

We had a fantastic stay! This home is perfect for a getaway with friends or family. The beds were super comfortable, and having a bathroom for each bedroom was a major plus. Everyone appreciated the added privacy. The location was terrific, and we especially enjoyed the fun morning hike to grab coffee nearby. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great place for a family vacation!

I stayed here with my husband, brother, sister-in-law, and parents. We also brought two dogs with us, which Tyler and Mary graciously allowed. We booked this particular property because of its dog friendliness but also because of its location and close proximity to several places we were interested in going. The house was both super comfortable and super clean -- we all agreed that it was a great property. Everyone enjoyed their bedroom space and slept well during our three night stay. The hosts were very communicative before, during, and after the trip and thoughtful in what they have available at their property. There wasn't much we were lacking! The kitchen in particular was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and snack. We loved the nearby market, grocery store, restaurants, and breweries. Our favorite night out included delicious food and beers at Three Notch'd Brewery on their dog friendly patio! We found many other dog friendly places nearby, which was a necessity for our group. There was ample hiking available for those who were interested and a comfortable living room to hang out and watch TV in, as well as cool antique stores nearby, for those who were not. Wintergreen (even in the summer) has something for everyone! We really enjoyed our time at Tyler and Mary's mountain home and plan to return sometime in the future. We would definitely recommend this property to any families or friends looking to relax somewhere comfy, clean, and close to cool places!

Beautiful Mountaintop

We had a great stay in Wintergreen. The area had tons to do and we enjoyed our time there. The house was clean and comfortable, but it is attached to the neighbor’s. We never heard anyone else around and felt like we had the entire mountain to ourselves. The house is well stocked with everything you could want including soap, shampoo, coffee, etc… more than most of the homes we have rented on VRBO. The owners were very thoughtful and checked in to make sure we never needed anything. There are a lot of steps at the property, but this gave us lots of privacy. We highly recommend this location.

Perfect Mountain Getaway!

My mother and I had the most peaceful and restorative stay at this beautiful 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath condo in Wintergreen. The space was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out—plenty of room to relax without ever feeling on top of each other. The view from the condo was absolutely stunning—truly one of those “pause and breathe it in” moments every time you looked out the windows in the main living area.Everything about the stay was seamless and comfortable and we really had no reason the leave the resort area. The condo kitchen is spacious and it was easy to find all that we needed. The beds were cozy, and the bath products in the bathrooms were great! We appreciated how quiet and serene the area was. We enjoyed hikes and even saw some skiers - despite it being the tail end of the season! We ended each night with a glass of wine sitting around the fireplace. The only “problem” we had was finding the trash dumpster—which was clearly explained in the instructions, we just didn’t read them carefully enough. That one was on us, clearly not our hosts! Even the instruction book was creatively displayed and very thorough. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain retreat with all the comforts of home—and a view you’ll be dreaming about long after you leave.Many thanks to Tyler and Mary for their good communication and most especially for sharing their special place at Wintergreen with us.

Christmas Getaway

We really enjoyed the beautiful house, especially the Christmas decorations! We had plenty of room and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. It rained for several days, so we spent more time inside than anticipated. Everything was lovely!

Great family time!

It was really nice. We had two small issues. It was very cold while we were there and we had inconsistent temperatures during the days and nights and in different rooms. The fireplace was wonderful in the evenings. Also, when we started to use the dishes there were small dark spots in some. We cleaned the filter in the dish washer. I think there were coffee grounds there. That took care of that. It was ideal for our family since it was only an hour and a half or less from all of us. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year.

I enjoyed my stay here with family thoroughly. There are two balconies with beautiful views of the mountain. My 4 yo loved the muriel of the blue ridge on his bedroom wall. I loved that all bedrooms had an ensuite. Host was very responsive and accommodated our request.

Fantastic property with beautiful views

Our stay at this property was nothing short of fabulous! The owners were very communicative and flexible with us. They also had some detailed touches I hadn't seen in other VRBOs. They have a very helpful booklet unique to their home and its surroundings with helpful tips, hours, and suggestions for everything from where to eat to where to hike. But nothing could top the views! We could see the horizon for miles and truly made our stay feel special. I would highly recommend staying here!

Fall Getaway

Spent a week with an old friend visiting some vineyards and breweries. Went on a hot air balloon ride from Charlottesville, dined at the Farmhouse at Veritas and took a few hikes. Enjoyed it all.
