Orchard House with Wintergreen Advantage

Orchard House is a one of a kind, stunning 5BR home near the Devils Knob area and less than one mile from the Wintergarden Spa. Completely refurnished in 2023 with a blend of tasteful antiques and contemporary furnishings, it is the perfect place for family reunions or to recharge.

The living room is unbelievable with a wall of windows, vaulted ceilings, gorgeous wood bookcases, and wood burning fireplace above which sits a brand new 85-inch flat screen television. The first-floor primary bedroom has a fireplace flanked with bookcases, Peloton bike+, and TWO full baths, each with its own dressing/closet area. The spacious kitchen offers glass cabinetry, coffee station, three dishwashers, gas range, double oven and expansive island with separate prep sink. The dining room has a majestic table that seats 10 and is the perfect place to gather for pancakes and juice before hitting the slopes or enjoying a day of hiking. Sliding doors in the back of the house offer access to an expansive deck with outdoor dining table, seating options, and retractable awnings that will allow you to enjoy beautiful sunsets and quiet starry nights in comfort. A laundry room is conveniently located off the kitchen with outdoor access.

Upstairs, a loft, reading room with desk overlooks the living room. Two large bedrooms (one King and one Double/Double) are also on the second level, each with flat screen TVs, sizable full bathrooms and walk-in closets.

Orchard House has a separated guest house easily accessible from the back deck that is an absolute dream offering privacy and luxury. It has a large sleeping area (King bed), living area with flat screen TV, deck, kitchenette, washer/dryer, and large full bathroom. Also separate from the main house and easily accessible from the back deck is an additional apartment bedroom (two Twins) over the two-car garage with a wet bar area and full bath. There’s ample parking for everyone in the circular driveway – just one more feature making this home a perfect base for your mountain adventures. You will never want to leave!

This is such a gem of a property ! It was perfect for 10 of us with 6 adults and 4 kids under 5 . There is a small , fully equipped house next to the big house where we grandparents could hide a bit when needed. We were less than a mile from the indoor/outdoor pools and Nature Center - perfect for kids . The 2 older children attended the Wintergreen day camp which was terrific . The management could not have been nicer . They responded so quickly to our requests ( trash pickup and even a car jump !! wow) We definitely will stay here again and recommend to others as well !
