Beautiful site!

Loved the property - it was so beautiful and peaceful. Leaves were still changing colors, river/lake is so pretty behind the house. The house was perfect for us - Melisa even double checked what they had to be sure we had or brought everything we needed to cook a family Thanksgiving! While house is set up for about 4 people, we had 7 of us for dinner and it was perfect! Beds were comfy, lots of nice towels, throws to snuggle on the couch with. We'll be back!

Honeymoon getaway

We loved this property. It is exactly what was expected. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house as well. We enjoyed the views and the over all welcoming essence of the house and property. Melisa was very helpful and left enough details that we didn’t have questions. I hope others get to enjoy the relaxing property and get out of the city! Thank you again!!!

Lighten your step

Whether drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings or gathering in the gazebo by the grill in the evenings we thoroughly enjoyed this property. Lots of thoughtful touches and accent lighting. Especially smart to provide lights on all stairs on an unfamiliar property.

Perfect relaxing sister getaway

This is the PERFECT spot for a relaxing weekend! The first thing you notice is the picturesque outdoor setup right beside the River. There are plenty of spots to choose to lounge- around the fire pit, under the porch, the upstairs porch, by the outdoor kitchen, or (like we did) bring your camp chairs and sit out on the dock! The kayak was an added bonus and was a fun morning workout! We sat outside and read for the whole weekend, but inside was perfect, too! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfy, and it is so clean! If I could live here, I would! Host was quickly responsive.
