We enjoyed our stay at the Franklin Cottage but I had a hard time giving it all 5 stars.
Pros:
* location was in a quite neighborhood, easy to get to with a couple of coffee shops and deli within walking distance.
* Gretchen was responsive to inquiries
* appreciated having coffee supplies on hand
Cons:
* my biggest complaint was the bed in one of the bedrooms seemed like the mattress was from the 70s. It was creaky and hard. No headboard, just a mattress on a box spring/frame. I ended up sleeping on the twin in the sun room. Still squeaky, but a little more comfortable.
This is definitely not a luxurious property but certainly fine. Seemed to have the amenities one would need.
