Forbes Fever was the home of our beloved owner and founder, Dr. Sarah Forbes.

She built a true "Old Nags Head Style", Ocean Front home full of warm juniper wood and nostalgic treasures. Each of these treasures were collected during her travels around the world.

We just added an outside ping pong table!!

PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL for you to enjoy (Pools on March 25 and Closes October 31)

Forbes Fever offers wonderful Ocean Views which can be seen from most of the bedrooms.

You can also enjoy them as your relax on the deck or in the shade of the large gazebo.

And as an added Bonus, the large master bedroom has its own private deck. Just perfect for watching the moonlight play on the waters surface.

When you arrive, don't worry about dragging luggage up the steps. The house is equipped with an Elevator! A big help for taking up bags! Located in the car port area. Elevator goes to all floors.

Each bedroom is tastefully decorated. The children's room is decorated in a Jungle theme. It and has its own Private Bath. There are even stuffed animals to play with!

The living room furniture is a pet friendly too. All is vinyl or leather.
There is a large SMART TV with DVD player.

For private viewing, there are SMART TVs in most of the bedrooms.

A fully equipped kitchen with a Keurig, a Crockpot, Blender, & Seafood Steamer pot, is all you need to keep your hungry family happy. The kitchen extends into a sun room with a bar and extra seating.

Beyond the dining room is another sun room that faces the Ocean.

Enjoy the evening on your large front porch.

The laundry room is large and great for storing your extra items. It is equipped with a full sized Washer & Dryer.

For your pet there is a covered chain linked dog run and yard. Just open the door and let them out. You don't even have to go with them because the fence extends past the entry steps!

This home offers our own Private Boardwalk to the Ocean.

We provide an amenities package-starter package for all guest's. It includes the following:
Sheet sets for all beds(WE DO NOT MAKE THE BEDS WITH THE SHEETS. YOUR SHEET SETS WILL COME IN A VACCUMMED SEALED BAG), one towel set that the house sleeps, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath, 2 bars of soap per bath, 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, and one travel size bottle of dish soap.

*Note: PET FEES are NOT INCLUDED in price, but can be added. See below:

PET FEES:
Pet fee is $100 per week per pet + tax.
Or if less than a week, Pet fee is $15 per day per pet + tax.

2. College students and anyone 27 or younger considered on a "case by case' basis and will include additional student rate and security deposit. If you are under the age of 27, you must submit an inquiry first. You are not allowed to "Instant Book".

1. Evacuation Fee (5% of your total) will refund any days missed because of evacuation.
