Cozy and reasonably priced

The property is located in a convenient location with lots of dining options. There is busy night life in the neighbourhood which may feel dodgy to walk solo at night but Japan is a very safe country as a whole. Rooms are small but clean. We booked separate rooms for each of us and the prices were very reasonable. The rooms were newly refurbished and very clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. Public parking was available within a short walk. All in all, a comfortable quick stop on a road trip.

Very convenient location, across the street from the train station. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly and speak enough English to be able to communicate effectively. They helped me complete a shipping paperwork to ship one of our larger suitcase to another hotel in Yokohama. The rooms are standard size for business hotel, but certainly small compared to hotels in USA. That said, comfortable and clean rooms. This is our 5th time staying here and will stay again in the future.

Good Base for Exploring Area

Photos of the rooms found on the hotel’s website are accurate. Ditto its list of amenities. It is a VERY comfortable hotel. We definitely will book a room there again on a future visit. For us, this was a 3-day/2-night trip to find some long-lost relatives. While going about that, we visited the Niigata Prefectural Museum of History, lunched at a nearby Aquare spa, drove out to Tsubame-Sanjo to see the Yahiko Shrine, rode the cable car from there to the ridge above where one can see the Japan Sea on one side, the Eichigo Plain on the other.

This is an excellent hotel. It is close to the train station and central Nagaoka. It's simple and clean and has a great bathing set up. Not only are baths and showers in the rooms but they also have a public bathing area which was pristine and had a lot of amenities. The price is not too expensive either.

Great location for sake lovers

Convenient location. Very close to the station. If you like Japanese sake, the restaurant around there will provide great range of sake. I went to Asahi shuzo which is the Sake brewery. It was convenient to go there from this Hokke Club hotel. And this hotel has public bath, free for the customer.

Close to JR

Convenient location to JR. We arrived early from Tokyo at 9:30am, so nice to have a covered walk to the Hotel which is a 5 minute walk from JR. Staff was very friendly and made sure my bag was in my room when I came back later that day. Japanese breakfast is a good value and good way to start the day.

Nice Business Hotel

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a night to depart early in the morning from the train station. The hotel is right beside the train station with a convenient and friendly 24hr check-in. The building facility is small, but is clean and is in a good condition. There is a communal bath on the second floor that's open till 1am, which made our aches in legs and backs from the 26hr trip a lot better. (There is also a private toilet / bath unit in the room with amentities) I noticed there is a buffet style breakfast every morning from 6am, but we left too early and in a rush to be able to enjoy it. The semi-double bed is, as name states, NOT a double bed. So if you are seeking for enough room in the bed, I suggest you upgrade to rooms with 2 beds for 2 people.
