The hotel is very good for those who want to relax and enjoy the peacefulness. There are not many activities you can do around hotel site and Nabari is not a big city. Breakfast and dinner are plentiful. Staff are very service minded.Though they can't speak English much but they understand what you need.

The hotel room was clean and had a nice view of the lake. My room was on ground level so there was a small private yard with sandals to go out and get a better view of the lake. The onsen was very relaxing and hot. The hotel itself is a bit of a drive to get to, but I think they may have a shuttle bus as well.

Hilltop Hotel overlooking a beautiful lake

Thank you Mr. Fukuhara and all the kind staff...You made me feel like a 5 Star Customer! You served me a 7 course traditional Japanese dinner/breakfast with a view overlooking the lake and surrounding hillsides. I enjoyed the morning walk around the lake and slept like a baby on your comfortable Futons and natural setting style room. Your onsen was very relaxing and clean and enjoyed the massage chair after the soothing hot springs. If I get married, I will return to experience the beauty, tranquility and warm service.

Beautiful view, rooms lacking

The view from our hotel windows was gorgeous, however, the room, espeicially the bathroom was very lacking in creature comforts. Quite old features there. Also, did not note it when booking it, but it is a 'traditional' Japanese hotel which means, you have a stated time for dinner and breakfast, and they serve what they cook, no ordering what you would like.

Isolated hotel with a magnificent view

I chose this facility because I wanted to get away from the bustling city. There really isn't much to do walking distance from the hotel but I enjoyed my stay nonetheless. The view from the bath and the room was breathtaking as the hotel is located on top of a mountain. I would recommend the Superior Japanese Room as it was spacious and the only non-smoking room. The dinner and breakfast was delicious. The dinner was traditional and aesthetically pleasing. They served rice that was harvested locally. They offer a shuttle service from Nabari Station, so call ahead if you are going there via public transit!

お部屋は思っていたより狭かったけど、ゆったり過ごせました。夕食は品数が多くて美味しくて大満足です。朝食もごはんが美味しかったのでもう少し食べたかったです。 お風呂もゆったり入れて気持ちよかったです。
