We stayed with some of our adult kids and families and loved it! I was thrilled to have trails and a gravel road on the property where I could venture out alone when the family didn’t want to join. Wished there was a more detailed map of the trails, but we eventually found them all-so many deer, bunnies, and a coyote. The one that leads to the river does not connect with any of the others, so know that when you attempt to locate it. We also didn’t think the river would be great for swimming (very muddy/buggy), but had fun tying rubber ducks to strings and throwing them out for the grandkids. We especially liked the view from the end of the property over the valley. It was beautiful from sunset until it was dark. Then the fireflies came out and kept us busy. We loved the fire pit and made s’mores and roasted hot dogs. The lodge was a great place to eat dinner and watch movies together. The kitchen area in it looked to be for storage so we didn’t use it, so maybe inquire about that being an option if you need it. We were grateful they allowed our two small dogs or we wouldn’t have been able to stay. The location was great for getting to LU (50 min) and we loved the dark tunnel hike that was about a 35 minute drive. There was a grocery store not too far, also. Concierge was very helpful!
Only cons were misc. items left by the previous renters, and we really wished a dining table was in the cottage (there was room for one but only 2 stools at a counter). We hope to return!
