Built in 2022, this peaceful 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin offers a rustic interior with farmhouse style furniture and décor, gas grill and firepit for sunset smores! Sit out on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine in hand and enjoy the local wildlife. Just 10 minutes from town, enjoy the locally owned stores and restaurants. Centrally located to rafting, canoeing/kayaking, golf, hiking, wineries and Casino.

The Lazy Goat was a great place to stay and relax right before returning back to work. The host was very responsive. The amenities in and at the home were great, that we didn’t have to leave the cabin. I can’t wait to return back with my family or for a girls getaway.

So my husband suprised me with this stay for our 20th anniversary! When we pulled up i instantly was just wowed! When we walked in i was in tears of joy! The perfection of the detail in the cabin itself was top tier. The cabin was very clean! The special touch of the s'more bucket made it that more special by the host! Lazy Goat Cabin

Great location to get to downtown Murphy for dinner and an easy drive to the Nantahala Outdoor Recreation area. Peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice weekend getaway.

Nothing short of amazing!

This cabin is just incredible. The owners spared no expense with the amenities, from the smart TVs in every room (and on the decks) to the luxurious linens to the high-end appliances. Everything was thought of. When we did have a minor issue, the host responded immediately and had it fixed quickly. I would recommend bringing robes and slippers for getting to the hot tub, as it’s a short walk outside (on a nicely-lit path) to the lower deck. The fire pit was so relaxing, and we loved playing card games on the deck. It was exactly what we needed.

This was mine and my fiancés’ first trip together as a very newly engaged couple. The host and hostess ensured we had everything that we needed upon arrival. Elizabeth was very responsive when I had to ask questions. The arcade games were awesome. The s’mores were awesome. And so was the hot tub. The shower in the master bedroom had 2 shower heads, which was awesome. My fiancé and I enjoyed the swing and eating breakfast on the porch. The place was super clean. We’re already discussing our next trip. Thank y'all for the relaxing and much needed weekend away!

The cabin was just as described. Super clean, everything worked well, and the hosts have it perfectly prepared with everything I needed for cooking. I would only pass 1 item and that would be a cheese grater. The hot tub was so wonderful and relaxing, the beds very comfy, and the surroundings made my heart to happy. We all enjoyed our stay there. Very clean cabin!

This property was AWESOME!!! The cabin is very clean and comfortable with ALL the modern amenities. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and sitting by the fire at night. The location is great and we enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the morning. We will be back.

the cabin was beautiful and had everything!! but should have some kind of safety rails in shower so you can hold on getting in and out of the shower can get very slippery when wet. I had 87 year old mom having a hard time using the shower in hallway.

All together the BEST cabin I have stayed in!!!! So clean , all appliances was basically brand new. Everything you need they already have it in the cabin😁 we loved all the tvs, the fire pit, grill, porch swing (right outside the master bedroom), hot tub, all the games provided. Will forsure book again😁.
