PRO: Clean, nice staff, walkable bus stop, covenience store nearby, comfy room/bed, upgraded room. Modern toilet, easy to see from the road. CON: No restaurants nearby. RECOMMENDATION: Highly recommended if visiting the ski resort or Deogyusan National Park nearby.

A great spot!

We really enjoyed our stay at Resortel in Muju. We would definitely go back. The management was so welcoming and kind and spoke a bit of English, which is always helpful to us (since we don't speak much Korean). It was also in a great location...easy access to a lot of stuff. We were able to walk down the street to a nice vegetarian, wild restaurant. We walked behind the hotel a bit to plunk around in the river with our kids. And other things were an easy drive away. We also really enjoyed the breakfast option. Since Covid, a lot of hotels haven't been offering such nice options, and they really had a nice combo of Korean/English breakfast. My only "negative" was that I felt like the sheets/blankets were very rough...not soft at all. It was pretty scratchy trying to sleep. But that being said, the pros definitely outweighed that con. Thanks for a great stay, Muju Resortel.

Great accommodation in Muju

It was amazing accommodation. Although room size is less than average however facilities are clean and comfortable. Owner is very helpful. Full marks for the breakfast. TV size describes as 42" should be read as 24".

The staff of Muju Resortel was very caring and can speak fluent english. Although the rooms are small, it is really cozy and homely. The boss cooked a scupmtion breakfast for us although there was only 4 of us there as it was not the peak season yet. The breakfast includes korean dished and english breakfast such as toast hashbrowns, sunny side up eggs, ebi, fresh milk, cereal, coffee, tea and much more. Thank you very much and I strongly recommend this resortel for other people! this review by my 12 year old daughter.

Check-in was simple and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy with a cabin feel. The lack of wifi is my only issue, but it was not much of a problem. Breakfast had few traditional, american options, so just be prepared.

Hotel is very new and in good condition. Toiletries, water are provided. Breakfast is quite good and enough. Owner is very kind and helpful. He showed us the hiking trails and offered to take us to the cable station so that we could hike one way. He also showed us the restaurant for dinner which was really good and delicious. However room is a bit small and there is no elevator in the building. We were on the 2nd floor thus no problem for us. Owner helped us to bring down the bags when we checked out. We shall stay again if come back in future.
