You are surrounded by the Ozark National forest and The Gene Rush WMA (Arkansas State land). There are Bears, coyotes, Elk, deer, raccoons, and other small animals and many types of migrating birds.
House is approximately 30 minutes from Jasper and 80 mins from Branson Missouri, Top of the Rock and Dogwood Canyon Nature park.
Many Flea markets and antique stores.
Old fashion drive in theater in Marshall, Kenda Drive In.
Onyx, Blanchard Springs, Cosmic, Bull shoals and Mystic Caverns
There are two general stores one 5 miles away in Mount Judea and one 10 miles away in Piercetown for basic necessities.

JEEP/ATV/UTV/Motorcycle/
1. Leave straight from house to Ozark National forest and Gene Rush WMA. forest roads. (Forest road speed limit 25 and must have spark arrestor). No other restrictions apply.
2. You can ride straight from the house or head out to 3 ATV systems inside Ozark National forest, Moccasin Gap closest to house (hwy7 North of Dover, Mill Creek (Northwest of Cass AR), and Brock Creek (East of Hector AR). All can be rode to from the house.
3. Jeeps and motorcycles, go any direction scenery is awesome.

Hikes/Repel or rock climbing - most of these hikes are very short.
1. Sam's Throne Climbers area but has great walking trail and views.
2. Kings Bluff and Pedestal Rocks.
3. Alum Cove Natural Bridge.
4. Stack Rock recreation area.
5. Haw Creek falls and Pam's Grotto.

There are many waterfalls and swimming areas that can be accessed by vehicle truck, jeep, suv. (not low clearance vehicles).

Hunting state and federal land for Turkey, Deer and Bear. Gene Rush WMA is North and Eastern side of where the house is located and Ozark National forest is 1 mile south.

If you have more than 6 people that want to join and they have campers. On a separate listing you can add them. There is a camper spot long enough to fit 2 40ft campers with full hookups. Directly if front the house.

Spotless cabin made for a great base for a weekend of climbing. Comfortable living room with a nice tv, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, and located just a short drive to Jasper. It was remarkable how new everything looked. The owners really take great care of this property. Great communication with the host from the minute we booked. We'll be looking to grab this one again for our next trip to HCR or Sam's Throne.

Absolutely beautiful property! The house was amazingly clean and spacious. The more rural setting was exactly what we were looking for. Each morning we drank coffee on the front porch and watched the fog rise out of the valleys around us. Short drives to local restaurants and trailheads. There were LOTS of informative pamphlets and menus to local restaurants at the house. If you are looking for a true getaway, this is it. We will book again.

Family fun in Mount Judea

We had a great escape in the mountains and hills of Arkansas! The cabin was immaculate! By far the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed at!! There was lots of room within the home, beds were very comfortable, nice big couch for everyone, Wifi works well, fully stocked kitchen, big yard with only one neighbor in site, quiet & peaceful surroundings, arrival/departure instructions were very simple, and we enjoyed the large porch around the house. It was a great place to get out of the hustle n bustle of everyday life for a few days!
