Just lovely

I stayed at Oriel House with my husband and little one and we couldn’t have been happier with the property and with Walkworth/Alnmouth etc! The property has been lovingly restored, it is well appointed, and there were lots of thoughtful personal touches provided by the host. We’d definitely stay again when we’re back in the area!

Beautiful property!

We had a lovely few days in this property. It was presented to a very high standard with real attention to detail making it feel very cosy and homely. The welcome pack was great containing all the essentials so that we didn’t have to go rushing to the shop on the first morning, very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this property and would like to return in the future. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at this property which is finished to a very high standard and very well equipped. We loved looking out at the castle and the shops & eating places were ideal for us! A great base for exploring the area and the 2km walk to Amble was just the right distance for us

Oriel House is just as it shows on website, the view is amazing , the house spotless and beautifully decorated. We were very impressed. The welcome package and note from Grace was a lovely touch. Would have liked to sit out in garden but this did not detract from our stay. Would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful, comfortable property with stunning views

A beautiful, clean, well decorated house. Very comfortable beds and well appointed en-suites. Stunning views of Warkworth castle, and a short walk from a convenience store and lovely places to eat and drink. Excellent communication from the owner and a lovely welcome basket awaited us. Good walks close by along the river and down to the beach. This property is well situated for trips out as there are many places to visit with a 30 minute radius.

This well positioned home provided everything you could want and more. It was sparkling clean inside, it was warm and welcoming, and very comfortable and quiet. Grace was a pleasure to deal with and all the personal touches around the home along with the incredibly generous welcome basket made us feel right at home immediately. If we add could’ve given more than five stars we would have. We would recommend this to family and friends and we would love to come back!

We really enjoyed our time at Oriel House. It’s a lovely house that has been done up to a high standard. Rooms were spacious, nicely furnished and well equipped. Great location opposite the castle. We would love to visit again!
