Poor value for the amount of money of an above average advertised room. No phone, refrigerator and could not move to a quiet room. The traffic noise outside on the busy street was deafening and went to 1am in the morning. Also a malfunctioning smoke alarm kept going off at all times during the night while trying to sleep.

This inn is in the perfect location to explore the Cotswalds without a car. It's an easy walk from the train station. We took a few day trip tours while there and enjoyed the Tuesday market. We also took the train to Bath for the day. The inn itself has a great old pub and dining room and a lovely courtyard that all serve meals or just a drink. There is a nice early breakfast you can choose that is just served to the guests that are staying at the inn. Our room on the first floor had a lovely private garden with a table that allowed us to have coffee in our robes the morning. The staff is helpful and kind and the inn is well maintained. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was very good, staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very good in both days. Our evening meal on Saturday evening was excellent. On the Sunday morning, we had drinks in the hotel garden which were brought to us by bar staff. The only negative thing was that I had booked a small double room and small it was. So really that was an error on my part so I would definitely book this hotel again, but booking a larger room with a larger double bed. All in all a great place to stay, thank you to all the staff that made it that way.
