## Space

Villa Ohana offers a comfortable and homey atmosphere for guests to enjoy. The property features 4 bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a private bathroom and king-size bed, a second bedroom with a king-size bed, and a third bedroom with a queen-size bed. The fourth "bedroom" is located in the mezzanine and has 2 twin beds and is ventilated by a ceiling fan. Guests can also make use of a shared second bathroom. All bedrooms on the ground floor have an A/C unit + ceiling fan however the mezzanine does not have an A/C unit but does have ceiling fan and an extra fan can be added on demand. To relax, Villa Ohana offers several spaces including the double living room in the house, the gazebo by the water, the large garden, and lounge chairs on the beach.

For dining, Villa Ohana offers a fully equipped modern kitchen, full of amenities and a few dining room options: the formal dining room, the picnic table on the porch (that you can move to the garden) or the gazebo for afternoon sunset drinks or coffee in the morning. A barbecue is also at your disposal.

If you're feeling adventurous , 2 kayaks are at your disposal on the property to go explore Cook's bay and it's surroundings. Guests can also enjoy the fact that most boats can reach the villa making it *almost* possible (please ask your tour operator first), easy and convenient every time to leave from your own place to do boat excursions.

LOCATION
Villa Ohana is ideally located at the beginning of Cook's bay right after the main village of Maharepa. The advantage of this holiday home relies on the closeness to different key areas of the island. Should you wish to get a pizza or French bread and pastries no need to take your car, it is all right across the street in front of the villa. The main village is only at 2 min drive and offers all convenient grocery stores, banks, restaurants, medical center, retail shops and much more. Its also only a 20min drive from the docks where the ferries arrive and 13min drive from the local airport.

ACTIVITIES
Snorkeling / Diving / Lagoon: the beach is right in front of the villas and opens on the calm lagoon waters. 20 meters away (60 ft), there is a drop off, home of many sea species, which lets you snorkel in full safety among the fishes only a few dozen yards from the Villas. There are no big waves because this place is very protected in the bay, so this is excellent for snorkeling and for children!

Diving: There are many scuba diving centers in Moorea which is famous for its diving spots.

Excursions on the Lagoon: Whether a boat ride to tour the island or an encounter with whales and dolphins, or water skiing at sunset, many leisure providers are at your service.

Surfing: The Opunohu Pass lets you surf on small waves. Watch out, however, for currents. The easiest and safest way is to do it with a provider who will take you to the best spots with his boat.

Horseback Riding: A ranch (only 10 minutes by car) is located in the Opunohu Valley for memorable rides in a spectacular scenery made of peaks and lagoons.

4WD and Quad bike: For those who prefer the comfort of a motor vehicle, a discovery of the hidden paths and breathtaking peaks can be done in a Jeep or in Quad ATV motorcycle.

Hiking: On the mountainside or throughout the tropical jungle, there is nothing like hiking, with or without a guide! Marathons, triathlons, etc. are regularly hosted in Mo'orea.

Golf: The Moorea Golf Course is 15 minutes drive away, near the airport.

The easiest way to get around the island is by car. We have partnerships with rental companies, please inquire for details. Should you need a taxi upon arrival, do not hesitate to specify and we will arrange one for you.

The lovely maid, Martha, comes 3 times a week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) to rake the garden and the beach.

Great location with private beach

Hello, we loved the place . The 4th bedroom needs improvement : 2 beds and nothing else - NEEDS furniture , a place to hang out clothes , put personal stuff away . Spiral stairway does not allow for luggage to be brought up- too narrow

This has a beautiful location on cooks bay. The ac in three bedrooms works well and showers and beds are good. We enjoyed our stay and Martha clearly works hard to clean and maintain the house and garden. However, Tamara consistently said she would help sort out why we weren’t getting hot water after check in and through Sunday - she said someone was on their way when no one ever showed up until 48 hours later on Monday. Turns out that the hot water (bringing a locked door so we couldn’t access it ) was turned off. Having been on a boat for eight hours on Sunday we really needed that hot water! This was fundamental to how we felt for two of the seven days. No consideration was given. Ohana did arrange ferry however and communicated well

Right in the Middle of Paradise

What a wonderful place to stay! My family of 4 was very comfortable in this spacious house. It was amazing to have such a beautiful view right out our back door, and be able to relax by the water without having to go anywhere. A major plus was an excellent reef for snorkeling about 30 yards offshore. We are big snorkelers, so we were out there just about every day - so convenient! The kayaks were fun and easy as well, and we watched several sunsets right from the back yard. Other plusses include comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a super helpful host. We were there in July and the weather was very comfortable, so we did not need the AC, but the 3 downstairs bedrooms were equipped with it. Also there are a few markets close by, so it was easy to get what we needed to make our own food. And Moorea is small so it's easy to get anywhere on the island if you have transportation. Some things to know: if you're coming from the US, bring power converters! The house is wired for 220V, and I'm not sure you can get them on Moorea. There is a clothes washer, but no dryer so be prepared to line dry your clothes. The 4th bedroom loft appears spacious, but I don't think is has AC so it might not be as comfortable as the others in hot weather. But I really can't say enough about what a wonderful place to stay this is. We ventured out quite a bit to enjoy local food and the beauty of the island, but it was such a treat to have such a wonderful view without having to go anywhere.

A perfect week at the bay

This is beautiful home. We had 7 people in our group who stayed, 3 adults and 4 kids. We loved this house. It is very well decorated, has beautiful furniture, comfortable beds (a/c in bedrooms), immaculate yard, and well stocked kitchen. It is almost a perfect setting on an almost perfect island. We had such a wonderful family vacation here. I didn't know if I would like us being on the bay, since I thought this probably wouldn't be the best beach area or snorkeling area. However, I was so blown away by the views of the mountains, the cute little beach, the rock wall that you see fish/rays/sharks almost daily from, the gazebo, the beautiful tree with wonderful lights at night, and the grill we used almost daily. The extra things like floaties, pool noodles, a couple snorkels, lounge chairs, outdoor shower, picnic table, and more, were very useful as well. We even saw a decent amount of fish snorkeling by the drop-off just past the buoys. There are better places to snorkel, but they are only a short drive away. All of the interactions I had with the staff were so helpful and they are such kind people. They did awesome communicating with us even though we don't speak French. They will help as soon as possible. They truly wanted us to have a wonderful experience, and my family and I are truly grateful for the week at this ouse.

Truly paradise

Villa Ohana is a jewel! Even more beautiful in person than in photos. The location is dreamy, on the stunning Cook’s Bay, with a small beach on the lagoon, where you can snorkel or swim or kayak in one of two on the property. We saw manta rays & lots of tropical fish while snorkeling along the coral reef there. Incredible! The house is spacious & comfortable, with one elegant master suite with large bathroom, plus two comfortable bedrooms that share another large bath. There were AC units in the bedrooms, & I slept so well, which doesn’t often happen when I travel. Bath & beach towels were provided. The kitchen is well provisioned, with a dishwasher & clothes washer, microwave, coffee makers, etc. Gorgeous tropical flower arrangements were in all the rooms. Our host Jade greeted us on arrival & shared good information for our stay. She was so nice & easy to work with all through the process. She even arranged a private chef dinner that was amazing, showcasing local products & foods (the fruits! the fish!) The place is very secure, with a gated entrance, & lovely grounds. Concierge services were provided MWF by a charming woman named Jean(ne?). It was easy to arrange for pickups for excursions, & we highly recommend both whale watching & snorkeling tours. There’s a great pizza place just across the street, & an easy 20-minute walk will take you to shops & restaurants in Maharepo. We were here in late October, & the weather was great, just one rainy day. Jade manages multiple properties through her company, Ohana Properties Management, so check her out. Our stay was unforgettable, & this lovely villa played a big role in this stellar experience.

Excellent Stay at Villa Ohana

Our family of 4 (2 teens) enjoyed a wonderful 5-night stay at Vila Ohana. It was everything we hoped it would be. Absolutely Perfect!

Our family of 5 spent 10 wonderful days in Villa Ohana and everyone had an incredible time! The property is better than advertised with oceanfront living, convenient to amenities, frequent visits from exotic wildlife including small reef sharks and rays. The home is in an amazing location near the entrance of Cook’s Bay, perfect for sunsets, snorkeling from your backyard, and with spectacular mountain views. In addition, the home comes equipped with two kayaks that we used every day to explore the bay. Jade was an attentive, responsive host, providing us with excellent recommendations for our stay. Our entire trip was magical and the stay at Villa Ohana made it even better. We’ll be back for sure and highly recommend the property for anyone looking for an exceptional experience.

Cooks Bay Rental

Jade was great to work with and the property was everything the listing stated. Being on the water with a private beach was nice. We like to cook our own meals so the gas grill in a nicely manicured yard was perfect. Sunsets are beautiful from the covered deck facing the bay and the yard is very private. We would rent this property again.

Wonderful place on Cooks Bay, with Allo Pizza and Kaveka hotel and restaurant just a short walk away. The little beach in front of the house made it easy to enter the water; snorkeling was best toward the mouth of the bay…near Kaveka.

House and amenities: Spacious, good layout, comfortable house. Kitchen very usable. Appliances like dishwasher and washer all function well. Location: Very special place at the entrance of Cook’s Bay with direct access to the ocean via a small private beach. Swimming was good and of course extremely convenient. Fresh water shower right in the garden. Cleanliness: Twice a week, the housekeeper Jeanne (often with her friend) came to take care of the yard. Then on Friday, she thoroughly cleans inside the house, changing out the bedding, cleaning the bathrooms, etc. We much appreciated this service, which is very rare for these rentals. Not to mention we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Jeanne. Jade was always available to answer questions and help out when needed, like when the propane tank for the stove needed replacing. This is a place I will definitely consider returning to in the future.

Moorea Beach House

The setting is calendar worthy, the house is beautiful and fits in with surroundings. The ac in the bedrooms ensures you sleep well at night and the breeze in the back yard make living outside during the day the thing to do. The main body of the house is not air conditioned and gets very hot some days, but the outside usually has a breeze and the bedrooms can be cooled. We would stay here again.

Truly magical

We stayed here recently with our four small children and absolutely loved our time there. The shallow warm waters out front were a playground for our kids. The location with the views were second to none. The home itself was very nicely maintained and comfortable all around. One mattress in the middle bedroom could be improved but was still comfortable. Given the humidity it would have been nice to have a dryer to dry towels but owner has a housekeeper that can just change them out when needed so in the end the dryer wasn’t too much of an issue. Be sure and try the pizza across the street. Best on the island. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and are already looking for a way to return in the future.

Fantastic home

The location was great. The house is fantastic. We were able to feel like home within a day or two as the flow of the house is just right. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of space in bathrooms. The view of the sunset is incredible. Overall a great experience and great property.

A beautiful escape from reality

This house is perfectly located in astoundingly beautiful Cook’s Bay. You have beautiful views of the bay, the ocean, the jagged mountain ranges and the stars. Perfect for kids, with its small private beach, gentle waves and shallow lagoon. This house is very comfortable to hang out in and Jade is a very attentive and good host. She knows everyone on the island and can give you great recommendations of what to do. We were very surprised by the beauty of this island, the gorgeous turquoise waters that surround it and the pleasantness of the locals. All around great experience!

Beautiful house with great views

This house had the most amazing views of Cooks Bay and its cliffs. I was not prepared for how enchanting the views were and how lovely the island of Moorea is. I would say it was my favorite island. The house itself was very well done with super comfortable beds, great outdoor space and a large kitchen for cooking. I recommend staying here and would highly recommend it.
