Spacious place close to metro
This was a good, spacious place close to the Metro and the super market. Overall clean but there were a few broken things and the place smelled like smoke.

Host is irresponsible
Host never gave me check in instructions. Never responded to numerous phone messages & emails. VRBO was helpful with finding a hotel for one night that they paid for & I booked the remaining nights.
I hope this host is pulled from listings!!!

Didn't get arrival instructions until early afternoon.
Had to call VRBO to get upon arrival.
Main door to unit jammed. Wouldn't open.
Host would only communicate by text.
Finally got in by unlocked back door via fire escape.
Host finally came over. 2 of 3 air conditioners not working. NO SMOKE DETECTOR. No microwave, no dish towels or dish soap. Dishwasher filthy and not working. Garbage on patio and ratty carpet. Not very clean in general. 1 small pan, 2 small pots and no steak knives. No strainer, big pot, oven plate etc. Upstairs neighbors up and down fire escape at varying intervals during the night (2/3/4 am) for unknown reasons. Could have easily entered unit by pushing out a/c window unit.
This unit is the low end of low end units.
