The property and our room was beautiful and very clean. The pool area was nice to swim in and relax. The laundry service was too expensive at 8 euros per wash. We were grateful to have a washer to save time and be able to hang our clothes outside to dry, but the price seemed like a lot since the machine was small. There werent any activities or wine tours mentioned,

Fantastic quaint agritourismo in the Tuscan hills

Great place to stay in the Tuscan hills. This working farm produces fantastic olive oil and wine, both available for purchase and served in their own restaurant. The rooms are spacious and provide stunning views of the countryside. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The location is off the heavily beaten tourist path, a very nice and quiet environment. Location is also only a short drive to Florence for easy day trips (use the park and tram ride to city center at Villa Constanza). Great access to other beautiful hilltop towns as well, including Certalgo, etc. Our room (apartment) had a private bedroom, living room, fireplace, patio, and a full kitchen. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Beautiful area and house! Hard to get to!

Very clean and spacious, and beautiful view outside room. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans to do your own cooking if you wish. Also had a restaurant nearby. Had an outside washer you could utilize if you could figure out how to use it, but no dryer. The only thing that I would see as a negative though, was that the 2-4 km of road to get there was horrible.

This property is very beautiful in Tuscany. The staff where very nice and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was very big and clean.I was a bit disappointed as the pictures of the property are a bit misleading, I really wanted to stay there because I thought there would be things to do and I really thought dinner was served with the lights and as a big family style but I was wrong. To eat dinner or lunch or breakfast you have to walk up a hill to a restaurant that’s on another property but you are not allowed to use the pool there because it belongs to the other property. We stayed there for two nights and besides the pool there was nothing else to do beside of course enjoy the beautiful scenery. The property is a rural area so there are no close stores nearby you have to drive to get groceries. I would also suggest taking your own travel shampoo and soap because we didn’t get any in our apartment stay. They also had a wedding on a night we stayed there and we where not noticed ahead of time and the only problem we had with that was we had no where to park when we returned from our day trip we took out to San Gimignano.We also ended up with lots of ant bites that where all over both of our apartment beds. Other than that the food was delicious and like I said you can’t get enough of the beautiful views.

Disappointing.

Started badly as after 4 kms awful drive up lane to property we were unable to find anyone. We stopped at the "Reception" Nobody there and no infomation on door despite us calling to say we would be there about 7.30. We eventually got a reply on phone informing us there was another reception! The owner eventually came down the drive to direct us a further 200 yds to house. This is separate from the apartments where the advertised swimming pool is located. We were disappointed with our stay. We expected to enjoy local dishes but the meals were like anywhere else: dry roast chicken, slab of roast meat, greasy "roast" potatoes, plain boiled cauliflower. Carpaccio of veal was the exception. Breakfast was equally boring and all self service including laying the table! Nobody greeted us to offer anything. We had to seek someone in kitchen. There were no staff around in the day and we had to help ourselves to our key from behind desk on re-entry. The place was soul less. The background music was turned off mid dinner. The room itself was spacious, the bed was good. Views superb. Lighting was very poor: no lighting at all in seating area only bedside lights. The first night the ac didnt work and there was no hot water. Bathroom heater never worked. Shower cubicle very small. Bathroom door squeaked. Generally felt hosts were not interested in guests once we had checked in. We have had a very different reception in other agroturismo properties.

Setting fantastic. Staff friendly and helpfull. Food very good. Room a little outdated and definately needs refreshing. The property has a great selection of wines which can be purchased at reasonable prices.

Amazing hospitality !!

This was the best time of our vacation, The way you are treated by the staff, especially Christina and Sabrina is exceptional, the chef prepares meals that are works class and the Wine from the Winery are amazing. The rooms are spacious and the grounds very nice to relax and enjoy the amazing views of the winery and the Tuscan hills where you can see San Gimigiano in the distance. I cant say enough good things about Le Fonti, if you have the chance stay here. you will not be disappointed.

Great location but info missleading

Although placed in a perfect spot with a great terrace and pool, the room we got didn't fit to the pictures and descriptions at all, too small, no sofa in it, when asking for another, no parking, we didn't get friendly service at all. Not forthcoming and contradicting their own explanations. Well, this singular stay of ours was not too great because of that. It might be different with other rooms. Some of the restaurant staff were friendly.
