When we arrived at the hotel my husband was not well with stomach problems.The receptionist was so helpful and kind and ordered a pizza for us to be delivered to the hôtel só we would not have to go out to eat.The restaurant in the hotel,is closed over the weekend. We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated.

During check in, I asked for a room to the backside, as I like to sleep with the window open. The attendant mumbled something about the area around the hotel was not a very busy one. When I arrived in my room, it was a room overlooking the road. It was quite warm in there. During the night, I closed the window to many cars drive by. I came down for breakfast the next morning, 45 minutes after breakfast had started. Most of the tables were not tidied from earlier breakfasts. The buffet was half empty (jams, eggs, pancakes and milk for the muesli). Asked the attendant for some milk. 10 minutes later, still no milk. Spoke again to the gentleman who replied that he did check the coffee machine and that there still was milk in it. I explained that I meant the milk for muesli. “Oh, you meant cold milk!!!” He was very unfriendly filling up the milk.
