We really enjoyed our stay at Monkey Mia. We has a garden view room which was convenient and reasonably quiet. The room was large enough fir a family and was clean and tidy. We took advantage of the the dolphin experience and the Aristocat2 afternoon cruise which were excellent. We didn't use the onsite dining so no comment there. We went to Denham instead for dining.

Those turtles are so cute

Stayed in a budget, shared bathroom room and it was certainly missing the small comforts. Only 1 overhead light in the room and no tea making facilities. Room did have a fridge,small dining table and chairs and the bed was comfortable. Bring earplugs and sleepmask. It was so bright from all the outside lighting and the setup reminded us of school camp. Excellent quality food in the restaurant and friendly service. Price on par with pubs/restaurants in Melbourne and Sydney. The bar does cheaper meals or there is bbqs and camp kitchen. Need to bring all your own everything though. Right on the beach. Saw dolphins, turtles, dugongs and emus. Did an eco cruise which was well worth it.

Enjoyable 2 nights

Great spot to chill for a few days with lots to see and see. Lots of animals and plenty of activities in area. The restaurant was excelllent. Lovely cabin- if we had been staying longer one by the sea would have been my choice.

All about the dolphins

You go here for thr dolphins and on that score you will not be disappointed, grt a beach view room and you can sit on your balcony and watch them parade up and down in the shallows and thats before the dolphin experience events each morning. The staff are warm and friendly. The room is clean and tidy, a small quibble is the lack of power of the shower which means you never really clear the sand from your feet, because the shower tray is ne er flushed free of sand, so you trail sand across the floor and consta tly have to clear it off your feet before go to bed

Lovely area, but there is NOTHING anywhere nearby. The resort is in the middle of nowhere, the food is average, but way overpriced. The facilities were average, the pool with shade was cold and small and more suited for adults. No slides or what parks for the kids. The hire buggies only work on steep down hill grades, we hired the buggies and only managed one single lap. The dolphin experience was a let down, waste of money, i can stand on the beach and throw fish dolphins at nearly any jetty in WA. Next time, we will bring most of our food with us.....
