The regular price makes this very basic motel a reasonable value but unfortunately my stay was during the Moab car show. Very slim pickings concerning lodging in town and the nightly rate was about 50% greater than usual. It was nice that the management let me check out an hour late.

The property is old, but is very well taken care of. Looks like maybe it was remodeled recently and looks fabulous. Just is an older building. The sign was hard to see, but we made it and it was fantastic!

This hotel was very conveniently located, in great condition, clean and easy to check in-to with a room code texted to me before arrival. FYI there is no staff onsite but they answered the phone when called and gave us late checkout with no difficulty. Would highly recommend for an affordable, amenity-light stay in Moab.

Checked in at 8 pm, no hotel attendance. Door code did not work, secondary measure key fob didn't work well but finally worked after a few minutes. Room smelled like bleach spill. Thin walls... can hear upstairs occupant walking around until after 3 am.

Linens and towels were clean but I made the mistake of going barefoot and my feet were black. Also the people above me were racing their rolling suitcases across the floor at 4am, or roller skating. Regardless a less than restful night. No staff contact so I have no comment.

Negative: The room had a very strong perfumed odor when we arrived. There was no way to open a window to air out the room. Positive: The front desk texted the code to access the room and we didn't have to worry about checking in by a particular time. The room had a microwave and mini-fridge.

Checking in was a pain in the butt. There's nobody there they don't send you the text message they are supposed to. Then when you figure out how to get them on the phone the codes to get into the room are wrong. People were standing outside trying to figure out how to get information to get into the room they rented. And for goodness sake put some light in the room. Seems like almost everywhere you go the rooms are so dark there's not enough lights and the lights they have are bright enough.

Rooms are spacious but costomer service is non-existant. THe coffee maker did not work, the thermostat on the heater did not work, the shower handle just spun in circles, and checkin was terrible. The 2 numbers that were posted did not work and I had to wait to checkin because there was no one there. If it wasn't for another customer I would not have been able to get my room open and the combo lock on the door malfunctioned. And the fire alarm had a plastic bag stuffed around it.

We walked in the front door, where there was a neon sign that said “office” on the window. Some lady told us this was a house and there is no office. She said we should have received a email with check in instruction. I did not. She called someone, not sure who, and they texted her the code to our room and the room number. Outside was gross, with old dining room chairs on the patio with dirty coffee cups on the table. Some sort of liquid was dripping off the roof onto the parking spots. Hadn’t rained in days and was warm and sunny out. Room was ok, had a recent face lift and newer furniture. But the floor was sticky, tub was dirty with a USED BAR OF SOAP on the shower shelf. So clearly hadn’t been cleaned. Bathroom door would not shut, just kept popping open. Many other weird things. Would never go back. Beware of nice pics on the internet.
