Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Mass tourism hotel with mass catering buffet so crammed it fills three banquet rooms and a spill over area. No bar. Limited dinner (no option to book for either night we stayed), no room service option and miles from nearest restaurant, so car needed as not actually in Amanohashidate but round the bay in an isolated spot all on its own. Hugely crowded pool. Japanese style room was basic - futons were expected but not to have to make them up ourselves. Clean and safe but would avoid and look for other options if possible.
a bit far from the station but with provided shuttle service to and from the hotel it was worth it.
The seaside view was wonderful. I wanted to stare at ot for days. Breakfast buffet had plenty of option and the dining hall was spacious. they also provided a drink bar at night. Indoor and outdoor hot springs.
Would definitely stay again.
While the exterior of the hotel is nice, the conditions of the rooms leaves much to be desired! Almost every piece of furniture is either torn of stained - including the linens and mattresses! Much better off finding another place to stay!
Beautiful view over the bay. Lovely lounge open from 9-11 with free snacks and drinks. Fridge and kettle in room. Drying rack for clothes. Sitting area. Hotel is nice in lobby but rooms are quite dated.
We stayed here the night before my son's entrance exam at a local high school. His first comment on walking in was, "Whoa~ nice place!" and it really was. I was really shocked at how nice the hotel was. Staff were all super friendly.
Overall Great hotel, the beds are hard just like other Japanese hotels. The difference here is that you can feel the springs of the mattress as if you are sleeping on a stretcher. The hotel is very clean with a great view.

Tired and felt half closed
Disappointing bar closes at 6
Place felt half closed.
Bath was easy to my chlorine
Many foreign guest not washing themselves thoroughly before bathing.
Not many shuttle services throughout day.
Offers nice seaview and quiet atmosphere. Staff were friendly and went to great lengths to help us find local cuisine. Large room with comfortable mattress. Buffet breakfast was delicious and there are plenty of food choices. Overall very good value for money.
I had to pay extra onsen tax in addition to Expedia payment even I did not use onsen. Staff is not that kind.
There is no computer and printer at lobby.
I would choose different place next time.
Pretty nice, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend it for others. Note that there is shuttle bus between the hotel and the miyazu station, which is quite helpful to the guys without cars.
