Beautiful Condo

We recently stayed at this beautiful condo by the beach, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and thoughtfully decorated everything was. The space was bright, airy with beautiful shades of blue. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the bed was super comfortable we slept better here than we do at home! Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts were friendly, responsive, and clearly take great pride in this place.If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful beach getaway, this condo is a gem. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful time! The condo was very clean, smelled wonderful and had lots of extra amenities that other places do not offer: beach chairs, beach cart, spices for cooking, coffee, coffee filters, coffee pods, tea, ziplock bags, cooking spray, paper towels, dish sponge, dish pods, laundry detergent etc. I have stayed a lot of Destin condos over the years and this is the only place that offered this level of "extras". I was thoroughly impressed. We loved this place and will definitely be back!

Perfect Beach Getaway

Like others have said, this was the cleanest beach property we have ever been to. All the linens, furniture, etc. were quality. I loved having a washer and dryer in our unit! The location was perfect, with the pool right next to the beach. We also loved having a tiki bar that offered beach service each day. We paid for a weekly rental of chairs and umbrella, but unfortunately people set up their personal chairs in front of the paid ones, therefore blocking your view. The heated pool was a nice size, and there was plenty of seating. The kids loved being able to ride the golf cart to dining and shopping. The one (minor) thing I would have liked is a fan in the bedrooms. I’m also sensitive to smells, so I had to put the diffusers in the laundry room. Overall, we were very pleased, and hope to be back again!

Beautifully decorated & luxurious condo

The pictures don’t lie! This is a beautifully decorated & luxurious condo. All furnishings, kitchen appliances/pans, towels, bedding, etc are high-end & in great condition. This unit was priced a little higher than others we considered, but I have zero regrets. “You get what you pay for,” is a phrase I keep in mind when booking accommodations for my family, so if you have the same mentality, you will not be disappointed with this condo selection!

Amazing time at Second wind! We enjoyed everything about this condo. Everything is high end, easy to access, and every detail is covered! Would love to stay here again. Location to Destin commons and Baytowne can’t be beat. We loved the golf cart access using the tunnel and fishing in the many ponds! Both of my boys caught a fish! Wonderful condo in a beautiful location!

This is our fifth year at Sandestin, and this condo is undoubtedly the most luxurious and well-appointed we’ve ever stayed in. Not only is it spotlessly clean, but it’s also meticulously organized, stocked with everything we needed, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate our family of four. We had two boys, ages seven and nine, and the condo provided ample space and comfort for us all. The location is simply fantastic, right next to the pool and the ocean. Our boys were thrilled to watch their new friends arrive for the day from the balcony, and that became our cue to head down to the pool for some fun. One of the most convenient features we discovered was the beach bar at the pool. It’s something we haven’t found at any of the other pools we’ve stayed at in Sandestin. The owners were incredibly helpful and prompt in responding to any questions we had, which made our trip stress-free and a genuine vacation. This unit is truly special, and we are looking forward to our next trip there!

Great Family Getaway!

Everything was perfect! The condo was spotless and in a great location within the complex. Carla was super helpful, and helped us navigate check-in with the bad weather we were driving thru. The beach was amazing, and the heated pool was comfortable for our kids even in the low 60s outside. We will definitely be coming back :)

Wonderful Stay at the Westwind Beachfront

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay at this gorgeous second floor condo!Perfect for two couples and so well stocked with toiletries, coffee, laundry supplies also. The kitchen is top notch and even though we only made breakfast one day; every cooking item we needed was available in the beautiful kitchen.The perfect heated pool, and nicely hot hot-tub, plus beach access was easy and picturesque. Not overly crowded at this time of year. But a very nice friendly group of people! We enjoyed the easy golf cart and 20 minute walk to the Marina at Sandestin and Grand Blvd. Overall we were very impressed and will keep this condo on our list for future Destin trips. Thank you to Carla for the attention to detail with the condo- definitely top-notch!

Feels more like home than a rental!

First, I cannot express how seamless the entrance to property, covered garage, building, and unit was. Great start! When we entered the condo, we were awe struck on how modern, clean, and well decorated this unit was. To give this review some perspective, I am in the luxury high-rise condo construction industry and IMO, this rivals penthouse level characteristics. The finishes were amazing and modern including a unique and highly sought after stone kitchen that wraps the kitchen, a beautiful backsplash, and modern stainless appliances. Bathrooms were equally impressive with beautiful glass tile shower surrounds with multiple showering options including standard shower head, handheld shower wand, or a ceiling mounted rain head. Gorgeous flooring with light inviting color themes, beautiful decorations, and comfortable new furniture. The beds were comfortable which is generally my number one item of concern as one with back issues. The large televisions with adjustable arms in the bedroom is also a very nice touch. Along with the modern appliances, the dishware and stemware also appeared to be new and very stylish. Every kitchen item imaginable and small appliance one would need was there, neatly organized, clean, and new. Access to the owner's golf cart, beach chairs and beach toys is a huge plus! Loved it!
