Ideal location with a great view!

Short walk to pool with cabana grill and just a few more steps to our chairs at the beach. An incredibly relaxing week. We have stayed at different locations in Sandestin for the past 25 years and used shuttles to haul all our kids and stuff to the beach. I really wish we just spent the extra money and just stayed here. Everything at our finger tips! Our future grandkids will love coming here and I will love it even more!!

Luxury, well appointed condo!

This unit was wonderful! It was exactly as described and was beautiful, clean and well stocked! Only thing I would change is the patio furniture. I felt the layout chairs were useless and too up too much room. I’d put another couch there! Other than that- perfect place!

Little Gem

This condo is a gem! It is in a great location and you can’t beat the ocean views. The place was clean and well kept. Communication for the property management company was spot-on. However, we did have a couple issues during our stay, and the biggest one was the water did not stay hot enough for all 3 of us to shower at the same time. Only one person could shower at a time, which was not a big deal of we were not in a hurry. Another negative was some of the lights did not work… the light for the magnifying mirror in the master bathroom did not work nor did the lamps in the living room work. Overall, it is a great place to stay, and we would definitely come back.

Beautiful condo at Westwinds

This condo was very pretty and stylish. The on-line photos don't do it justice. The Sandestin area is very nice, well kept, and landscaped. Westwinds has covered, gated parking. Westwinds is right on the beach, i.e., no streets to cross to access the beach. The condo view was straight out to the beach and Gulf. We saw dolphins playing in the surf one morning from the condo balcony. Stainless appliances, granite countertops, ample amount of dinner and bakeware. We visited the first week of October 2023. The Tiki Hut was open providing an easy and tasty sandwich and drink option. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent at an additional cost. Unfortunately, Westwinds beach chair rentals are not "first row" seating. People with private chairs and umbrellas sat in two rows in front of the rented Westwinds chairs. I didn't see a phone number/email to contact the chair rental company to reserve chairs prior to our arrival. Therefore, our chairs were in the second row of Westwinds chairs the entire week. Next time, purchase beach chairs at Alvins - better seating location, cost savings. I found the condo on VRBO and was directed to a Vacation Rental Company to reserve and pay for the unit. There was an additional VRBO rental fee added to my bill. I have rented Destin condos in the past I have located on VRBO in the past and never incurred a VRBO fee.

Wonderful view and location!

We were looking for a condo with a view and found it. This place was easy for checkin in. No issue with parking or the building. The condo was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very modern and nice. The kitchen was very well stocked. The only thing we wished for was one empty cabinet to store food. (Which speaks highly of how well stocked it was!) The pool, hot tub and beach were easy to get to and honestly it’s the best view I’ve had in anywhere I’ve stayed. The kids had a great time and we decided to keep this location on our list for future stays. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. Property overall was as described in listing. The unit was clean m, tastefully decorated, and comfortable overall. Some living room furniture needs repair or replacement and wifi dropped frequently and/or was slow during our stay. Those minor issues aside, we would stay again.

We enjoyed our short stay at this property. Very clean and well appointed. Easy access to the unit and amenities. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Air conditioning held at about 77 through the day. That is our only complaint. It was very cool at night so it may be that the system is set on a specific temperature. Would definitely stay again with a small AC adjustment.

Magnificent.

Great location. On the beach and 20 floors up. You can see the curvature of the earth. Jets were flying below our height. It was An awesome view. Condo. The condo was outstanding. Beautifully appointed and super clean - my #1 concern when I stay away. Everything was as it should be and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. 5 stars.
