Great mountain getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay on Blue Bear mountain. The property was just as described and shown in the listing. The game room, movie theater, library with loft, and everything was a hit with the entire family. The location was also great being just a few minutes from Blue Ridge but also an easy drive over the scenic highway to Helen on one day.

Awesome Family Cabin

This is probably the best family cabin we've ever stayed in. The kids loved the game room with the theater. My daughter fell in love with the loft bed with the library underneath. They wanted to spend less time out and Kore time in the cabin. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Great getaway

This is exactly what we were looking for. Up on the mountains with no neighbors within eyesight. The cabin had everything we needed/wanted, including a complimentary popcorn and coffee kit. My favorite part was the movie theater. I'm a movie buff so this was heaven. The detail that went into this theater was incredible. Alison was an amazing host and took care of all our needs. I highly recommend this cabin. We went up in the middle on March so it was still cold. Looking forward to coming back in the summer when the trees are green and there are more animals out and about.

Birthday trip

My husband and I loved our stay at the cabin. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen and extra blankets everywhere. The cabin offers so much with the theatre, hot tub, fire pits and game room. We look forward to booking this cabin in the future.

1-For people that is not from this area need to enter before 4:00pm because it is to dark if you arrived after this hour , it is no easy to find it at night 2-Overall if pretty cabin but NOT for 10 people because there is a lofted bed that is very inconvenient to get in and out of and gets very hot quickly when the rest of the house is at a comfortable temperature. The cabin was very pretty and it a very good location.

Great cabin

Great cabin with lots of space and fun things to do inside. We were able to carry our son’s wheelchair in and use it on the main floor with plenty of room. Giant table to sit and eat at. Only downside for us is the one bedroom was a loft, really cool but not for our needs. The owner made sure to check on us during the week and see if we had any needs. Caution if you have a longer vehicle as backing up and turning around can be tricky.

Family Time

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin for our family. My kids are older, 17 year old twins and a 21 year old so this was perfect. We enjoyed the big table for family dinners and the kitchen came stocked with everything. The game room and movie theatre room were well used at night after our outdoor activities, including the hot tub. Alison was readily available and responded quickly to any message we sent. It was an amazing visit and great location.

Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything we needed was close at hand. This is such a spacious cabin- we had more than enough room to be together, but there were also separate spaces for when you just wanted a moment to yourself. Very well thought out floor plan. The theater room and popcorn maker was a big hit with our son. We loved the screened porch for our meals and watching for wildlife. We saw so many deer, rabbits, and turkeys. The weather was such a great reprieve from our south Alabama heat. We hated to leave!

Lovely cabin. Go see the falls!

Highly recommend anyone staying in the area to visit some of the most fun and rewarding hiking trails with waterfalls nearby. We enjoyed it the cabin and it was a fun trip for the kids. Host responds quickly. We were unaware of the pet fee, and were fine to pay it. But we were under the impression that the added cost of the mandatory insurance would have covered any damage a pet would cause. Recommend that the host convert the fee to a pet deposit that can be returned to the guest after checkout.

Wonderful place to stay!!!

My family and my girlfriend’s family met in Georgia for the holidays. We stayed over Christmas for four nights and had an amazing time. Great furniture and beds! The game room and movie theater were spectacular! Amazing view to watch the sunrise and just a great throughout the day. Bunk beds for her adult brothers worked out great. Amazing master and second bedroom with bathrooms on each floor. One minor flaw was the loft bedroom. Not so much a problem, but a surprise. The bed was very comfortable, but inconvenient with the ladder that had to be moved each time in a very small room. We made it work, just did not see that detail highlighted.

Great Property for a terrific stay.

The house is as pictured, plenty of room for everyone and plenty of amenities. So relaxing to sit on the porch and read, play board games with the family, or enjoy your morning coffee. Couldn’t have asked for anything else. I highly recommend this property! It’s wonderful.
