Weekend Stay

Clean but small. Beds advertised as Queens but they are only doubles. No table to eat at & only one sofa in livingroom. We were only there to shower & sleep so it worked. Wouldn’t want to spend much time there.

Nice house

If you’re looking for a nice little place to stay in Miami this is it. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, the house is a little small but comfortable and it’s fenced in all the way around. Perfect place if you have a small family or travel with dogs. My family and I loved it here and my dogs really enjoyed the yard. Check in/ out was a breeze. Samantha is amazing and response quick to any questions or concerns. We had no problems here at all besides the little bugs that comes in the house which I think is just normal Florida living. But there’s can of bug spray under the sink to help with that. All in all we had a great experience staying here and will definitely go back whenever we’re in Miami.

There were mice in the apartment. We bought groceries and stored them on the kitchen counter by the morning there were bites and holes in the bread. I tried messing the host and got no response!! Otherwise the house was kept clean but they need to get that sorted out !

Host was unable to assist with any needs.

When we arrived at the property, we noticed that one of the beds was partially made (whereas the second bedroom was fully made). The duvet was missing from the bed, and we found it in the closet with no duvet cover. For sanitary purposes we texted the host to inquire about getting a duvet cover and was told a maid would deliver one the next day, that did not happen, and the host was unable to get us one for the 5 days stay. The bedroom also had lots of ants crawling around by the air conditioner (I don't think the window was properly sealed for the unit). We also had an issue with the shower, as the drain would not fully work and it took forever for the water to drain, at the end of the trip, it no longer drained, and I lost confidence in our host to fix this issue. In addition, we were not provided with enough toilet paper for our stay and had to purchase our own. I do understand that this is a relatively new listing, so I hope that the host will improve on these things for their future guests.

No hot water No heat Water stains on the ceilings Kitchen is lacking basic necessities like dish cloths and can opener One roll of toilet paper and One garbage bag and garbage stays in the house for the whole stay, when it’s 10 days with baby diapers, isn’t very nice Doors don’t shut Windows sealed shut Windows have pieces of plastic or spray foam around the a/c units. Gets very drafty and cold! Even in Florida, we found out the hard way When you need to order through Amazon for basic needs like dish clothes and tub plug and the delivery driver can’t read the delivery instructions, then puts the items in the locked mail box. Owner would not come open the box as guests are not to receive “mail” at the property. Lots of patch work on the walls and ceilings and not painted. One sheet and blanket for each bed Hard hard beds Very old chain link fence falling over in the front and back yard Would never stay or recommend this house or the owner to anyone. Very poor guest relations and rude
