My experience at ULIV Mexico City was beyond wonderful. Everyone at the front desk helped me check-in properly, get taxis, they recommended places for great food... I could go on. The hotel cleaning service responded quickly and kindly when I needed toilet paper. The rooftop is beautiful and peaceful. This hotel and staff deserves 10 stars.

A total disappointment

We were not prepared for the horrible street noise, the lack of air conditioning in the sitting room, the refusal to give us 2 packs of sugar for the coffee, the refusal to give us more hand soap, toilet paper because “it’s only part of welcoming pack”, the broken broom so we were unable to keep the room at a minimum cleanness-after all cleaning service is done Only once every 7 days.

This hotel is in a fantastic and central location in Roma Norte. The reason I give 1-star rating is because of the staff and the hotel room. I booked a room on Travelocity and the description did NOT state that it was an interior room with no window, no natural light, and an enclosed wall covering the patio door. I'm claustrophobic and asked to move room. The staff was not nice and said "too bad and I would have to put up with it." The next day, we talked to Gabriela that we were willing to pay to upgrade the room, but no other room was available. The ULIV hotel manager told Travelocity that they would not refund our money if we checked out early- even when the description did not state the room had no window. We stayed "in prison-like" room for 2 days before we were able to change room. Then upon paying upgrade fee and checking in at front desk for a new room, another receptionist said that she could not find our names in the system. She could not find the room, and we ended up telling and showing her that our new room number should be 1410, which was listed on our luggage tags. Even in the upgraded room 1410, the refrigerator made very loud irritating noise, we informed the front desk and was told "We are not fixing it, just unplug the refrig if it makes terrible noise!" The staff made our stay an awful experience! If you stay here and want a window with natural light, you might want to check to make sure the room is not an interior room.

Since we were staying eight days, it was important to find a place that had space to stretch out and unwind at the end of busy days sightseeing. We appreciated the kitchen and livingroom, along with the rooftop patio that provided great views. Staff were gracious and made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay at another ULIV property.

Beware the marketing!

Good hotel but the photos make it look a LOT more upscale than it is. And the AC was way underpowered and the noise from the traffic was very loud. The gym is basically in the parking lot.

Louder than expected at night due to proximity to Main Street. Easy to get to places by walking or bus. Rooftop seating was stunning and def a break from the loud and bustling streets. Floors in our room were filthy after walking w socks. I guess we were expected to leave our shoes on? Overall though, very friendly and helpful staff and nice accommodations.

It was a great apartment with a great view, but my room was above Avenida Insurgentes Sur and made of glass. It was NOISY. Even with earplugs it was very difficult to get much sleep. In the future I will look for a stay that is not on such a busy street and intersection.

I really enjoyed my stay. The place is really clean, has a rooftop with a beautiful view. It also has a gym equipped with cardio, weights and little patio for outside workouts. They have staff available 24/7 at the front desk. Very secure. My room was very clean, nice and clean bathroom, and I got a nice beautiful view of the city. When I come back to Mexico City, I'll be staying here again. thank you🤘

I loved the location as I could walk to so many places, but I will say I don't mind walking longer distances. The accommodation was great especially for the price. There was an issue with the taxi service on my departure date not showing up at the requested pickup time, that is literally my only complaint. The price of the entire package with flight and hotel was so good it was hard to pass up (630 USD for flight and 4 nights at hotel).

VERY helpful, welcoming staff at all times in all ways. Fabulous roof deck, good gym, and a few private work areas. Very clean, modern with easy mini kitchen, dining/work tables, tv, shower, closet space and bedding. Good plugs and bedding and lighting. Great location.
