This hotel was a nightmare.
1)NO FIRST AID KIT: My mom needed ice for her ankle. I walked to the front desk and asked for ice, specifying it was for my mom's ankle, they said they’d bring it to the room, and didn’t. I then called the reception from my room, someone else picked up and I said the same thing to them. 5-10 minutes later, they show up with ice in a bottle bucket...That was not going to work, I needed at least a bag. Waited another 10 minutes, then called the front desk again, same guy answered. I asked for an update on the ice. He replied that "that’s the only ice we have". First of all, how is it acceptable that they don’t have a first aid ice kit? Second, why do I have to reach out 3 times to just be able to ask for the most logical solution which is to at least provide a BAG for the ice;
2) There is mildew in all the corners of the shower;
3) The minibar IS LOCKED so we can’t even use the fridge less we ask them to come open it;
4) We asked for a toothbrush (it’s in the services listed for the hotel as an extra amenity) and they said it w unavailable, did not offer an alternative (could have said: "not available today, will provide tomorrow")
5)The pillows are terrible quality, and super thick. We asked for thinner pillows and they said that they did not have them, that was it. I woke up with allergies and even then they couldn’t help us find a solution.
6)The "Superior" room is too small
7)There’s homeless people sleeping right outside the front door
