The location is great, close to the park and Roma Norte and Polanco areas. Staff was very friendly. The street is quiet at night. Cleaning staff was thorough. Only negative was the mattress was pretty worn out.

PROS: - Very central location, within walking distance of many tourist attractions. - Safe and quiet neighborhood. - Spacious room. - Complimentary breakfast included. - Parking is included. - Friendly and accommodating staff. CONS: -Check-in instructions are confusing. You are asked to call in advance because “there is no staff on the property, especially at night,” but when I called, they said, “Don’t worry, we have 24/7 staff on-site to check you in at any time.” - I agree with other reviews—the property needs deep cleaning and general maintenance. - There is an elevator, but it is very small, only fitting two people with two small suitcases. - No extra blankets are provided in the room. If you get cold at night, you’ll have to wait until the next day or go downstairs to request one. - The room isn’t horribly dirty, but it’s not spotless either. I’d rate cleanliness a 7 out of 10 - The safe is very small—you won’t be able to fit a laptop. - The shower setup is frustrating. It has both a ceiling shower and a handheld showerhead, but only the handheld one works. If there is a way to switch to the ceiling shower, it’s inaccessible due to its height. So, taking a shower requires some maneuvering, especially if you’re tall. I am not sure if all the rooms have the same issue.

The property was fine. The entire experience, though, was overshadowed by our concierge Cesi stealing $100 from us by saying we booked an excursion through her when we never did. We said we were interested in knowing more about an excursion then we were threatened into paying a "non-refundable" fee that we never agreed to, or even received any information on. It tainted the rest of our experience and we paid without doing the excursion out of fear of retaliation. She demanded cash and when I asked for a receipt, she never gave us a copy of anything. All we have is voice messages she left us. Overall, this was not a good experience for us.

I had to ask for another room because the shower curtain was too short. When taking a shower water covered the floor where the toilet was. I had to wipe the water up wth a towel. The hotel staff understands very little english. When moved to another room, I didn’t have pots which I had in the first room. When I received a pot, it was removed the next day. I had to request another one. There were very few guests at the location. We were there 5 days and I think we only saw only two other guests. Breakfast is truly lacking. Only white and sweet bread, limited fruit (apple or banana) and made to order eggs is deceiving. Fortunately we bought our our food and prepared it. The room is spacious as the pictures indicate. Staff did not seem too friendly. Staff tried to accomodate requests but could only work with what they have to work with. Management does not seemed to be too concerned with keeping the property well maintained. In the evening the lighting in the hall was out so I had to use my light on my cell phone to get into the room. There is no card key. It is a key with a tag with your room number. I try not to complain about how other people live in their own country but based on the information that was put online, I really expected more. I would not stay there again. I did not feel welcomed for the most part!

The location is excellent. We felt safe walking around. There are shops and restaurants near. The Parque de Chapultepec is very close. The breakfast is plentiful and fresh. Our room was clean and spacious. I would stay here again.

There was mold inside the bathroom around the corners, I found a little centipede in the curtain, the person in charge of cleaning only made the bed and changed the trash bins, didn’t sweep the floor.
