The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel needs some tlc. Hotel needs to be more prepared in case of an Emergency, we were there during Sismo and there weren’t helpful at all. No information were given to the guests during the Sismo.

This room has all the amenities for a long/short stay. I really liked that it’s located in a main Blvd. and in a good area (Roma, close to Polanco which is the high end area). I loved that the sheets smelled fresh, the towels were soft, pillows fluffy and room was clean. The only downfall is that the bed was too firm, while I enjoyed everything else about this hotel, I wish I got a better sleep. My other guest did not complain about the bed, everyone’s preference is different. The suite we had had a full kitchen and dishes.

We got the 2 King bed suite. The Bad: It was supposed to be a balcony view but there was no balcony. There was not much of a view to be honest. I was pretty dismayed to find out there was no heating. After fiddling with the heat/A/C units in the room for 15 minutes, I realized that there was no way to get heat to come out, so I confirmed with the front desk that there in fact is no heat. It might have been okay not to have heat if I could’ve cuddled up in bed to watch TV, except that in order to watch TV in our room, you have to sit at the kitchen table in the dining area. Our stove didn’t work, but the guy at the front desk kindly offered us a key to another room so we could use the one in there. The electrical connection for ours was fixed the following day. The power went out a few times while we were there. The good: The service was very friendly. We had 2 full size bathrooms which were some of the nicest I’ve seen. Spacious and showers with good heating and water pressure. Neither good nor bad: The entire hotel (lobby, rooms) is full of tiny old black and white photos of people. This adds some unique history and personalization that you don’t see elsewhere. You may or may not go for the effect.

I had a pleasant stay at Colony. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and everything else was great. However, since it’s on a main road, it can be quite noisy. I used earplugs, and it wasn’t too much of an issue. If you’re a light sleeper, a room facing the main road might not be ideal. Overall, I highly recommend it.

We stayed for three nights to explore Mexico City. The location was excellent and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff was very helpful, and I would definitely recommend this place. The only drawback was that there is no on-site parking. However, this is not their fault—there are several public parking options nearby, and we felt safe parking our car on the street.

This hotel was better than the mexico city hilton that we stayed at. The rooms are massive clean and advanced. Everything is new with smart TV, fridge, microwave. Showers and water pressure was amazing. The AC system was perfect. The windows is noise tight, you cant hear a thing even though we were on seconds floor. I was truly surprised how great the hotel was.

We really enjoyed our stay here and the quality of our room. We upgraded to the terrace king room on the 10th floor which is why I think we didn't experience the noisiness outside. The location is excellent and close to everything. Overall would stay here again and appreciated the service carrying our bags up to us and to our car. The only thing is they aren't very generous with extra water bottles etc but not a big deal.
