Good place to stay in Merida

Lovely parador, great location, comfortable room with good view. Excellent parking, although very TIGHT spaces, challenging to use. Good restaurant, although the dinner was a bit unexciting. Congenial service in the restaurant, somewhat cool at the reception. Overall we were pleased, but it was not up to the level of other paradors where we have stayed.

A very nice place, a bit thin on breakfast (no eggs without special order). Main issue was multiple entries, which created a problem for the driver who picked us up. If you are taking a train, bus, or renting a vehicle, go for it.

Hotel was a convent so an interesting hotel, but required some navigating. Location great for seeing all the Roman ruins. Fair size room but encumbered by a lot of large furniture, but only one chair. Breakfast was not included in our rate and was expensive with poor service.

Caundo pregunte por el.costo del desayuno buffet al registrarme confirmaron que era $20 euros por dia para dos personas y, al pagar la cuenta dijeron que fue un malentendido y que eran $20 euros por persona. He llegado a varios Paradores y este ciertamente ha sido diferente, siempre son lugares antiguos excepcionales y son increíbles por dentro, a este se le ve el paso de los años y no me pareció que estaba a la altura de lo que suelen ser; es un hotel que necesita renovación en habitaciones, áreas comunes y piscina. El servicio sin embargo súper correcto y amable.
