This beautiful retreat blends the authentic charm of old-time Puglia with modern home comforts and consists of a traditional stone Masseria house and two Apulian Trulli - the conical-shaped homes that are typical of the area. The property is surrounded by a walled garden to allow guests total privacy making this the perfect option for even the most discerning visitors.

Each characterful building combines original architectural features including; exposed stone walls, vaulted ceilings, stone fireplaces and tiled floors, with carefully chosen furniture and modern amenities. The spacious living room is furnished with a large wooden dining table and chairs, a digital flat-screen plasma TV, two single daybeds and a comfortable sofa. The separate kitchen is equipped with steel worktops and professional appliances including; a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave; a coffee machine and a large fridge freezer.

Outside, the villa’s landscaped garden incorporates a large terrace where guests can quietly relax, socialise and enjoy alfresco dining. There is also an attractive, loggia with soft seating that looks out over the garden. Accessed via a stone staircase, the pool and sun terrace are surrounded by parasols, sun loungers and deck chairs

Sleeping

Bedrooms 1 & 2: Both ensuite bedrooms in the Trulli enjoy stone walls and vaulted ceilings. Both are furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. One bedroom also has an additional single bed.

Bedroom 3: The third bedroom is situated in the main house and is furnished with a double bed and a single bed

Extra: There are two single beds in the spacious living room.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1: The bathroom in the main Masseria is equipped with a shower, bidet, washbasin and a WC.

Bathrooms 2 & 3: Both ensuite bathrooms in the Trulli are fitted with a shower, a washbasin, a bidet and a WC.

Extra: For guests’ convenience there is an additional WC with a washbasin and a bidet.

The property is located on the Salento peninsula a 3-minute drive from the charming town of Melendugno. There is a restaurant a 5-minute drive away, a supermarket a 3-minute drive and a weekly market on a Wednesday morning in Melendugno where you can find the best local produce to cook at home.

Beach lovers will enjoy the laid-back resort of Torre dell’Orso (a 12-minute drive) which is known for its crystal-clear sea and fine white sands that slope gently into the water. Other popular excursions include a trip to the beautiful Baroque city of Lecce, known as the \"Florence of the South\" (a 25-minute drive) or a visit to the historic town of Otranto (a 20-minute drive) famous for its Cathedral (with a mosaic floor), Aragonese Castle and scenic waterfront.

For nature lovers, the WWF nature reserve of Le Cesine is just a 12-minute drive from the villa. For golfers, there are two golf clubs near the town of Acaya (a 20-minute drive away).

The closest international airport is Aeroporto di Brindisi (BDS) approximately a 50-minute drive from the accommodation.
