Mountain Views |Seven Springs, Hike, Hot Tub & Sauna
Sauna & Hot Tub- Lux Laurel Highlands Valley House | Spacious and contemporary, yet cozy and rustic, this stunning light-filled home is the perfect place to gather in the beauty of the Laurel Highlands. We designed each space with intention to balance comfort and clean lines that frame expansive mountain views outside and deliver spa-like amenities inside. Enjoy coffee and crisp views from the sunroom, soak in the jacuzzi tub under the stars, breathe deeply in the dedicated sauna room or sink into a meditative practice in the Zen room.
Take in a leisurely hike or bike ride on the Indian Creek Valley Trail, or enjoy a peaceful fishing spot on a bridge over the Class A trout stream less than a 5-minute walk from the house. Return home and gather around the bespoke kitchen island or settle in by the hearth in the media room to the crackle of the fireplace, or the cheers of a crowd as you watch the game on the 75-inch UHD TV. Take in long views of the valley from the east deck or watch the sun set over the marsh from the west deck, which overlooks the firepit and the hot tub. At night, tuck into luxuriously appointed beds, with down comforters, crisp white linens and an abundance of pillows and fluffy blankets. Enjoy these unique amenities just minutes away from the ski slopes at Seven Springs and Hidden Valley, the hiking and rafting at Ohiopyle and the architectural genius of Frank Lloyd Wright at Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob.
The heart of this home is a magnificent custom island spanning 22 feet that seamlessly connects an open plan living, dining and kitchen space. Your entire party can gather around to play, prep, and eat, making this the perfect place to come together for holidays, family reunions, spa, ski, or rafting weekends. The modern, luxurious kitchen is fully equipped to give any cook the amenities they need, while being designed to accommodate plenty of helpers (or non-helpers!) so no-one feels left out of the conversation.
Available Spaces:
Groups can easily flow from the main room to the generous deck or break off into adjacent spaces – a sunroom, a media room with fireplace, a Zen room/gym space and a sauna room round out the spacious first floor common spaces, all thoughtfully designed to facilitate break-out activities or even small yoga or jiu jitsu retreats.
Beyond the common areas and a powder room, the first floor also features a master-bedroom and attached full bath, making it ideal for those who may prefer to stay on one level.
Escape upstairs to four additional bedrooms and two full baths. All beds are equipped with memory foam mattresses, down comforters, piles of pillows and fuzzy throw blankets, and feature charging stations for your phones and devices.
Outside you will find multiple spaces to unwind, with two large decks, a 7-person hot tub, a firepit surrounded by relaxing Adirondack chairs, and a spacious yard - ideal for pets, kids, or a game of cornhole on the provided boards.

The entire property is yours to explore, with the exception of the basement, where we store supplies. We have over an acre, bounded by pine trees along the road, but also including the overflow parking lot on the west side of the yard. The driveway by the house has room for 3 cars and 9 more can fit in the overflow parking.
We want you to be delighted and are dedicated to hosting our guests in comfort. We feel so good when we arrive at our valley house and want you to feel the same way. We are both experienced travelers who have stayed in homes and hotels all over the world. We know that clean design and thoughtful amenities are the foundation of a good experience.
We visit our homes often and we have an amazing local crew that is likewise invested in insuring that we meet your expectations. We are available via text phone call, and through your booking platform app before, during and after your stay.
We are ideally located for the most popular attractions that the Laurel Highlands have to offer. An easy 10-minute drive from the turnpike, the house is less than 15 minutes away from both Seven Springs and Hidden Valley (to the north) and 20 minutes away from Ohiopyle State Park and Fallingwater (to the south). G&D Market, the neighborhood grocery store is less than a minute past the house, and Champion Food & Fuel, at the corner of County Line Rd and PA-711 has a gas station and convenience store that is open late. Firewood and beer are available from several vendors you will pass between the turnpike and the house.
There are stores and trails within walking distance. However, being out in the countryside, a car is essential for most other trips as there are no public transit or ride-sharing services.
Our home is on Indian Creek Valley Road, which is a scenic byway leading down to Ohiopyle, so it is kept well-cleared in the winter. Unlike many other properties in the area, it remains accessible without 4-wheel drive in the winter months. We have screened the yard with large pines trees, but you will hear cars drive by when the windows are open.
We generally find the mountain air to be cool, especially overnight, but we do have central A/C in all parts of the house except the front addition that houses the media room/downstairs master bedroom.
Often the best way to maintain a comfortable temperature is to use the fans to bring the cool air in. Heat is, likewise, central in the main house and controlled room-by-room in the front.
We are in the country, so there are a fair number of critters who would love to make it inside. We have screens on all the windows and a regular pest control service.
- NOTE: Firewood is not provided at the property but can be purchased at several of the local stores near the property. If a larger quantity is desired, we can also provide a contact who will deliver by truck. - Please consider trip insurance, which can assist you if you have an unanticipated difficulty with your trip. - Let us know immediately if something is not as you expect, we want to make it right. - Please be at least 25 years old to book, or contact us for additional deposit options. - No smoking. By booking, you agree that there will be a $500 fee if the cleaning service finds evidence of smoking or vaping outside of provided bins outdoors. - Do not discard cigarette butts or any other trash in the yard or inside the house. It is unpleasant for future guests if the snow melts to reveal trash we were unable to see to remediate. - Pet friendly. We ask that you clean up in the yard and keep pets off the beds. We charge a $50 cleaning fee per pet. - Events, parties and large non-family gatherings are prohibited without prior approval. This includes weddings, bachelorette and bachelor parties, and other similar events that may entail large groups and/or alcohol consumption. We absolutely want you to unwind and have fun. Most guests have been absolutely lovely about this, but sadly, there have been a few who have made poor choices and we need to ask you to guarantee this with a$500 fee up front. We will happily refund it completely, if you leave our house as you found it. - In consideration of our neighbors, please be respectful of noise levels and and music outside. Please observe quiet hours from 10am-10pm. - No food or glassware in/around the hot tub. Grass, leaves and mulch tracked in on your feet will burn out the heater, despite the filters. Please be cautious. - Please bring supplies to remove make-up or use the black make-up towels we provide. - Your cleaning fee covers laundry and cleaning all surfaces. We do ask guests to do their dishes and remove their trash to the dumpster at the end of the driveway. You agree to make prompt payment through the AirBnB/VRBO Resolution Center for damage to the property beyond normal wear and tear or cleaning beyond normal usage. Examples include trash such as bottle caps, cigarette butts or animal waste left on the property, remediation of spills or damage to linens or towels and damage to the house or furniture. - Additional fees may be charged by your online booking service and taxes may apply. A delay in check-out without prior authorization may trigger a fee, as it can delay cleaning of not just this home, but other homes on the cleaners' schedule.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 4 bathrooms, and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 5 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a sofa bed.

We had a great family vacation. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The proiperty easily slept our 11 of varying ages. My negative was that it was on a very busy road with traffic flying by 40-50 mph, including overnight. We all live on very quiet streets. It was a nice ride to Ohioplye.

Very nice home
The indoor space was perfect for our large family. Plenty of kitchen and lounging spaces. The outdoor space was very nice as well. Large yard with play set, two nice decks and a hot tub. Would definitely recommend this property. We will be staying here again.

Awesome house!
We had a mix of families and friends for a ski trip. It's just about 12 minutes from Seven Springs. Everything is just as it looks in the pictures. I had a conversation with the owner prior to going and she was wonderful. Answered all my questions and provided a super helpful .pdf with all the information about the house and the area. There is a small grocery store less than a mile down the road. Kitchen was well stocked. The island had a ton of space and chairs. The hot tub was nice, and we also enjoyed the sauna. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were. Would stay here again.

Perfect Ski Weekend Getaway for Friends and Family!Perfect Ski Weekend Getaway for Friends!
We had the most amazing time staying at this beautiful house for a ski weekend with friends and kids. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how organized and well-equipped everything was.The heart of the house has to be the massive kitchen island—perfect for gathering with a group! With so many kids in our crew, it provided the perfect spot for snack time and group meals. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the house is designed with zones that let everyone find a place to relax and unwind. The kitchen itself was great. It was incredibly well-appointed, with everything you could need for cooking big meals after a day on the slopes. Even better, everything was clearly labeled, which made finding exactly what we needed super easy and saved a lot of time. One of the highlights for us was the big screen TV—perfect for watching the Eagles vs. Commanders game! The living room set-up made it comfortable for the whole group to kick back, relax, and enjoy the game all together. In terms of location, the house couldn’t have been more convenient. It was only a quick 15-16 minute drive to both Seven Springs and Hidden Valley resorts, so we were able to hit the slopes with minimal hassle.Overall, this house was everything we needed and more for a memorable weekend away. I would highly recommend it!

Amazing
We booked this house for a ski weekend with friends. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again. The location is great as it was only 15 minutes from Seven Springs. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed to accommodate a large group. We spent most of our time gathered around the ginormous kitchen island. Sarah was super communicative and available as well to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had during our stay.

Wonderful spacious home in Melcroft, PA!
Our group of 8 stayed at this wonderful, spacious home 10/27-10/30/23. We absolutely loved this house! The whole house was clean, the bedrooms are comfy and roomy, plenty of sitting/gathering areas, the kitchen space and seating is huge, beautiful views from the back room of marsh/trees, lots of yard space, fire pit, sauna, hot tub, etc etc. Host communication re: area information and access was great. We experienced no issues - unless you count the rain. Lol. Would definitely recommend this home to others and would stay again in the future.
