We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was clean and had very high end finishes. The views of the mountains were amazing, we were minutes from the North Cascade NP and only about 15 minutes from Winthrop (for dinners). We had the opportunity to meet the owner while he was shooing away a buck in the yard. This young buck was trying to eat all the nice landscaping. Needless to say, the owner was very kind and we could tell proud of this special place he and his wife built together. Oh and my daughter and I were able to do a fun run on beautiful trails near the property.

We loved our stay at Base Camp 49. Thoughtfully designed homes that are well equipped and the property has everything you could want for fun, adventures and relaxing.

Lovely place for family gathering

We rented cabins 7A and 7B for our 3-generation family gathering. The location was fantastic. Some of us rented Nordic skis and enjoyed the easy access to all the trails. Others had a great time snowshoeing around the area. The cabins themselves were beautiful. We loved the rustic-industrial aesthetic. We adored the giant scrabble board and appreciated that other games and puzzles were also provided. A few issues were that several people in both cabins found the pillows to be much too thick and dense, and didn’t sleep well as a result. We called management but they were unable to provide alternatives. We loved having the wood-burning stoves, but the firewood provided was cut so that most pieces were too long to fit into the tiny stoves. We picked through the firewood to find a few that just barely fit. The place overall was very clean but we found quite a few kitchen items that were put away dirty (probably by previous guests)

Amazing place!

The cabin was decided very well and had everything we needed. Loved the grassy area outside and the fire pit. Also enjoyed the communal area outside. Short walk to Mazama store (a must). Will be back!!

Lovely location

Beautiful spot in Methow Valley. Relaxing and fun playing on lawn with grandkids. Great cabin accommodations. Want to come back in winter.

Perfect property

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mazama and found this rental to be beautiful, spacious, comfortable, clean, and fun (there are several indoor and outdoor games). This place is a gem.

Amazing Location!

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday with friends. It was the perfect set up for two couples and an amazing location. Loved walking to the bakery and the public house. The landscaping was beautiful and tranquil! Will definitely look to book again in the future.

Great location and property

Very clean, great location, good space for families. Everything worked great, propane tanks were full, and property ower was very responsive during our stay. The AC and heating units are a little complex to figure out but nothing that cant be solved with an open screen or window!

Methow Visit

It was perfect! We all had a good time and enjoyed being at the cabin and doing fun activities in the valley like hiking, rafting, biking, and inter tubing. We had a great week and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful and the property was beautiful. We’ll be back for sure!

Everything about this cabin is perfect. Design and furnishing are modern and stylish, amenities are great. Walking distance to “downtown” Mazama. Great communication with property managers.
