Two sit on kayaks are available to use and there is a great firepit for enjoying quiet evenings under the stars. 1km to Nova Scotia famous Mavillette beach. The river in the back yard is great for swimming and leads right through the wetlands to the Ocean. Equipped with a mini fridge, hot plate, microwave/convection oven, toaster and bbq and all kitchen essentials.

We were greeted by Lee on arrival and shown to our home for the weekend. Nice clean studio type apartment with lots of amenities. Comfortable bed, and nice powerful shower. Pet friendly too which was a bonus Mavilette Beach is just a 3 minute drive away.

Two glorious weeks in Mavillette

Friendly and helpful host. Great location… quiet and picturesque… 2 minutes from the most beautiful beach… 20 minutes from Yarmouth and 60 from Digby… close to all amenities… including great golf. Accommodations clean and spacious. Great value!!!

Funky Smell

The host was super nice so I feel bad writing this but I have to. The room we stayed in was super nice but there was a funky smell everywhere: towels, sheets, pillowcases, in the air. My girlfriend described it as pond water. It lingered on our clothes and bodies for a day afterward. The water also tasted a little funny.
