Wonderful time

This is an area rich in places to visit, from an ancient Roman city or a hilltop village to museums filled with paintings and artifacts. Let's not forget many outdoor cafes and restaurants to become refreshed. Right outside the village of Maussane des Alpilles is this cozy and well-equipped small house with a great pool and yard. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Delightful gite in beautiful Provence, with very welcoming hosts.

This gite is an ideal base for exploring the stunning scenery and fascinating places of Provence and, especially, Les Alpilles. The Carmargue, Avignon, Aix en Provence, the Luberon and Arles are all extremely accessible, either by motorway or quieter minor roads. Nearby St. Remy de Provence and Les Baux de Provence are delightful towns. Maussane les Alpilles is in walking distance and has an excellent small Spar supermarket and a variety of good restaurants. The market on Thursday has a very good selection of stalls selling local produce, jewellery, clothes etc.. This little house is extremely well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. We would highly recommend staying here if you want to experience any or all of the above delights of Provence!

Fantastisch

Mooi en rustig gelegen verblijf. De eigenaresse is aardig en behulpzaam. Het huisje ligt op loopafstand van het dorp. Met de auto ben je snel op plekken waar je mooi kunt wandelen. Een ideale uitvalsbasis voor cultuur en natuur. Heel tevreden!

maisonnette très calme et indépendante la propriétaire située proche des différents sites touristiques nature village ou grande ville a 1H de la location. La piscine privée, la climatisation sont très agréable avec des journées de chaleurs provençales comme nous avons eu entre 36°et 39° . La propriétaire Annette est très discrète , accueillante, et nous a fait gouter sa confiture maison excellente. Correspond a la description de l'annonce. Nous y reviendrons.

Nous avons passé deux très bonnes semaines à Maussane. Petite maison bien équipée, bien située un très beau parc avec de bonnes cerises...Merci pour nos hôtes, leur prévenance, leurs intentions, leurs conseils. La région est très riche en découvertes diverses et enrichissantes.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Maussane-les-Alpilles, dans une petite maison très fonctionnelle et agréable, y compris lors de fortes chaleurs. Celle-ci est par ailleurs très bien située pour visiter la région. Jean-Pierre et son épouse sont des hôtes discrets et très agréables, et leur gentillesse ainsi que leurs petites attentions (tomates du jardin, oeufs ...) ont été très appréciables! Nous recommandons vivement!

Tres bonnes vacances!

Le petit appartement est a cote de la maison du proprietaire. Belle terrasse exterieure et acces au grand jardin . Le chien de Mme. et M.Bres nous a rendu visite le matin et le soir pour ramasser quelque chose delicieux. Un animal charmant, qui aime se faire caresser. Les proprietaires ont demande de temps en temps si tout va bien. Ils etaient tres gentils et nous avons passe de belles vacances. Un grand merci a Madame et Monsieur Bres!

Schöne ruhige Ferienwohnung

Wie versprochen,sehr ruhig gelegen.Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Alles funktioniert. Die Einkäufe kann man bequem mit dem Rad erledigen.In 1.5 Kilometer drei Bäcker ein Metzger,Fischhändler und ein sehr guter Obst und Gemüseladen. Gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und schöne Märkte in der Umgebung. Die Vermieter erkundigen sich ob alles in Ordnung sei. Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Geschirrtücher und Toiletten Papier waren nicht vorhanden und müssen mitgebracht werden. Leider war es nicht in der Beschreibung der Ferienwohnung angebenen.

Wunderbare Herbsttage in den Alpilles

Wir haben 10 wunderschöne Herbsttage in Maussane les Alpilles verbracht. Das Haus liegt wie beschrieben auf einem sehr großen und ruhigen Grundstück am Rande der Stadt Maussane. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet, man betritt einen großen Raum der Küche und Wohnraum zugleich ist. in der Küche ist alles vorhanden, alle Geräte funktionieren tadellos, ein Sofa ist da, man kann ein TV nutzen (frz. Programme), eine Klimaanlage kühlt und heizt den Raum/das Haus sehr schnell. Viele Schränke vorhanden, Bett ist bequem (140 cm) Badezimmer sauber mit großer Dusche. Schön ist der kleine Garten vor der Haustür, gegen Wind geschützt, man fühlt sich sehr privat. Wir wurden aber auch sofort eingeladen, den großen Garten zu nutzen, der sich vor dem Haus der Vermieter befindet. Mme. und M. Bres sind sehr freundlich und haben sich nach unserem Befinden erkundigt. Man fühlt sich aber ganz privat. Man kann sein Fahrzeug direkt neben dem Haus abstellen und auch für unsere Fahrräder gab es sehr gute Abstellmöglichkeiten. Bis zur Hauptstraße in Maussane, an der sich diverse Geschäfte befinden (3 wunderbare Bäckereien, aber auch Lebensmittelläden, Zeitungsladen, sowie Restaurants...), sind es ca 1,3 km. Mit dem Rad kann man morgens sehr schnell frisches Baguette und Croissants einkaufen. Die Alpilles mit der wunderschönen Stadt Les Baux, aber auch St. Remy, Eygalière, Arles etc. sind sehr schnell und gut erreichbar. Entlang der Alpilles kann man wunderschöne Radtouren machen, aber auch Wanderungen mit tollen Ausblicken. Kultur wohin das Auge schaut und der Kontrast von schroffen Kalksteinen, Weinbergen und Olivenhainen ist einfach wunderschön.
