Ravintolan tarjoiluhenkilökunnasta ei välittynyt palveluhenkisyys ja lämmin tunnelma/ilo, vaan tuntui että he olivat vain töissä ja tekivät sen minkä piti. Aamiainen oli hyvin suppea, johon olisi voinut helposti lisätä eurooppalaisille tuttuja asioita, kuten juustoa, muroja/mysliä ja jugurttia, joita oli saaren kaupoista saatavilla. Jos aamiaiselta loppui jotain, niin tuntui hieman hassulta pyytää niitä tarjoilijoilta lisää, vaikka samaan aikaan oli vain kourallinen asiakkaita, eikä nähtävästi muuta tehtävää ollut. Kahvi ja tee kuuluivat aamiaiseen, mutta tarjoilijat eivät kertoneet etukäteen, että kahvi tai tee maidon kanssa oli maksullista, vaan veloittivat tästä vasta muutaman päivän päästä erikseen, mikä tuntui aivan naurettavalta. Hotellin sijainti ei ole paras mahdollinen, koska se sijaitsee voimalaitoksen vieressä, josta tuli huomattavaa melua mm. ulkoterassille ja huoneeseemme voimalaitoksen päässä. Tuntui kuin olisi nukkunut lentokoneessa, kun huoneessa oli jatkuva voimakas humina. Hotellissa oli oma Kiwi -niminen papukaija, mikä sinänsä oli kiva ja tarjosi ylimääräistä viihdettä. Samaan aikaan oli kuitenkin hieman surullista, että isoa lintua pidettiin kiinni köyden päässä, vaikka sitä vietiinkin välillä ulos häkistä kiinni puuhun. Kiwi tuntui muutenkin keräävän kaiken huomion ja samanaikaisesti Undulaattia pidettiin aivan liian pienessä häkissä ilman aktiviteetteja, vaikka isompikin häkki olisi löytynyt terassilta.
