The sound of the river rushing along the cabin was a highlight of this property. Also a very nice natural rock seating area and fire pit next to the river was wonderful.

The house was beautiful and quiet, the beds were comfortable. There are really pretty hikes 20-30 minutes from the house but expect long drive to get anywhere. The room with the 2 twin beds is accessed by a latter that is a little wobbly. Overall a very nice place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was organized and there was a lot provided (games, telescope, local information, etc). The trail essentially begins at the cabin, so it's very convenient to wake up and start your hike. The fire pit is beautiful and right at the creek. Would definitely recommend.

The property was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. It had everything we could have needed and everything was clean and well organized. The location was everything we could have asked for with being close enough to the mountain things we were hoping to do but also accessible to general goods and items we needed for our stay. We are hoping to book this same site again in the future at the request of our daughter who absolutely loved it!

The cabin was better than advertised. The fire was absolutely incredible with the babbling stream right next to it. Big green space for kids to play on and the bed on the porch was absolutely perfect! I will be back.

Gorgeous, peaceful, and well-appointed. The home is delightful - even our anxious dog enjoyed some blissful naps on the porch. Our kids had a blast fishing in the creek even though the trout weren’t biting.

Perfect for a weekend to get away from it all. The stream was a great spot for fishing. The house was clean, kitchen well stocked and beds and bedding very comfortable. Screened porch as a nice place to spend the mornings and evenings. Thank you!!

Wonderful cabin in the woods

This is a very special cabin. It's perfect if you want to get away and have quiet time. I say "quiet", but it's not actually quiet since you have the constant, wonderful sound of waterfalls in Spillcorn Creek right next to the house.The pictures on the website don't do the house justice. It's very comfortable with a wonderful ambience. It's also a great place for dogs with a safe field to play in and water right there to splash in. I would highly recommend this cabin in you are wanting to hold up in the woods for a while. Not great for trips in and from town, but that's not what we were looking for.

What a wonderful time we had exploring, hiking and relaxing. Great property. If remote, private and pack is what you are after, I highly recommend this property. The screened porch is amazing. The information provided was on point. Overall fantastic experience.

Peaceful Vacation

We sat on the back porch with our dog everyday listening to the creek. It was such a peaceful & relaxing get away. We went to hike and see waterfalls throughout the day and would come back to the house to hangout and relax.

Peaceful and remote

Had a great stay here. House was clean and well-supplied with everything I needed. Beautiful property in a secluded area. Firepit by the water was terrific. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Perfection in the forest!!

We stayed only 2 short nights, but it really was perfect! The weather allowed us to enjoy the screen porch and windows open all night to hear the river and falls -- so relaxing and quite magical!! We were able to fish a little and take some nice walks around the property with our dog -- no leash, its so nice!! The cabin is super comfortable with everything you need, lots of nice touches that made me feel at home!! This is definitely a place to come if you love nature and quiet, peaceful vacations! Would love to come stay for longer next time!!

Relaxing surroundings and well appointed cabin, we enjoyed our stay. Loved having the option to hike, camp, and play in the creek right on property. Owners were very responsive to minor issues encountered during our stay. Would return!
