Tucked into the serene woods, our cabin offers stunning long-range mountain views from the expansive deck, where you can unwind in the hot tub after a day of adventure or gather around the outdoor fire pit for s'mores and stories under the stars.
This isn't just a place to stay; it's a sanctuary where you can truly disconnect and immerse yourself in nature's beauty. Inside, you'll find high-quality linens and towels, and each of the three master bedrooms features a large TV for your comfort and entertainment. The living area is centered around a cozy gas fireplace, perfect for a relaxing evening in. Our kitchen is well-stocked for your convenience, complete with a selection of spices for you to use when preparing your favorite meals. If you're a golfer, you'll be thrilled to know we are close to some of the best mountain golf courses in the area. While the peaceful serenity may tempt you to stay put, you're only about 35 minutes from the vibrant city of Asheville, renowned for its incredible microbrewery scene. You're also just 45 minutes from historic Johnson City, Tennessee, which both offer world-class restaurants, unique shops, and a thriving music scene. Our stay was great! house was beautiful! I would say, the only thing you need to know is that this home is a the top of a mountain( if your visiting from florida this could be interesting haha) . This is also in a gated community with two separate entrances. We arrived at 1030 at night at the wrong entrance, there was no one there and no phone service, thankfully someone answered the security gate phone to let us in. I would just look at where your gps is taking you! I didnt see any reviews talking about this so i felt like it was a worthy comment. The house was great! lots of room! very close to the ski resort!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Get-Away Mountain Cabin. Although the trip up the mountain is only for the more adventurous, the view was nothing short of spectacular. It was like a beautifully painted picture. The cabin itself had everything that you need to enjoy your stay and it is all well marked. Just be sure that you are driving a 4WD or AWD vehicle to enjoy the drive.

This place was absolutely stunning!! The views were beautiful and the house was immaculate. This was a weekend celebration for a birthday and it did not disappoint. The owners made sure you didn't need anything to make your stay comfortable and inviting. I loved that they even go the extras step and provide plenty of spices, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, towels, etc. We really didn't need to bring anything other then the food we ate. This might be one of our #1 cabins we've stayed in. We'll definitely be coming back.

Great location for families looking to ski!

This property was great. Wonderful views and lots of amenities for kids! Perfect place to stay if you’re looking to ski at Hatley Pointe which is just a short 5 - 10 minutes down the mountain. We had an amazing stay. I spent a week there- a couple days with friends and a few days with my husband and 2 dogs and it was perfect for both. Great hiking in the community; easy day trip to Asheville; best stocked kitchen I've ever had at a rental. No better way to spend a cool summer morning than on that porch...and the sunsets! By far the best supplied VRBO that we have ever stayed in! Kids loved the hot tub, pool table and ping pong. Great bedrooms and the view was incredible. Got to see the start of the fall colors too! Would highly recommend!
