The Fez Room: Private Patio: Riad Roxanne

Amazing pool and garden courtyard nestled into the Medina’s oldest neighborhood. Step away from the bustle and chaos of the tourist Souk. Find your way down narrow quiet alleyways. Experience the real medina of the Moroccans. Quickly you arrive at Riad Roxanne. You enter from a small door on a calm, secluded dusty bend in the alley. You step into a jungle.
The space
THE COURTYARDS

As you walk in, the wide, orange-blossom shaded courtyard opens up in front of you. One of the biggest pools in the Medina sits at its center. Tiled with dark black stone laced with red and orange, quarried deep in the Atlas Mountains. Shaded by citrus trees and bougainvilleas and the high, vine covered walls of the Riad itself. Have a swim. The luxurious plants that edge the black stone pool make it feel like a mountain grotto. Afterwards relax on cushions shaded by dark green leafy trees or sunbathe on cushions specially laid out for maximum sun worship. Have a glass of wine, a beer, or a cocktail, since Riad Roxanne has the right to serve alcohol - relatively rare in the Medina. Then find your way to one of the tables that surround the pool and courtyard. Listen to the burble of the fountain as you eat a Tagine prepared by our 5 star chef. Afterwards visit our hammam or our massage room or rooftop terrace. Watch the Atlas Mountains turn pink then a deep orange as the sun sets while you finish your glass of chilled wine.

The Fez Room

Bathed in the colors of the desert, Fez is the Yellow City. Our room is the same. Pale sand colored tatelac walls. Plants native to the Fez region. A semi private terrace all your own with a table and chairs and an outdoor couch for enjoying the late afternoon breeze. Look down on the pool from your cushion covered couch while you read a book or just cuddle with your partner in the Fez Room.

The entire Riad is yours. Enjoy a cool dip in the pool. Sit by the fountain. Get a massage in the hamam. Have breakfast in our garden and dinner in our dining room.
