Everything stood out as amazing! The room and the public spaces were spotlessly clean and the staff were almost unbelievably kind, friendly, attentive and helpful. And please don’t hesitate because of the very low price: if you want a comfortable, simple room in a great location, you could not do better than Riad La Lune de Marrakech.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room is extremely small which is fine but then there is also no privacy with only cloth curtains (that barely cover the door frame) to block the toilet and the shower. The people who own the hotel should also put up more hooks and buy some spare adapters (the lady who worked there lent us her charger)
Very charming and historic facility right in the heart of a walkable tourist area filled with shopping and dining options. The staff were very warm and helpful. The rooms are on the small side and it would be nice if they could provide small amenities such as bottled water in the room.
The staff in this hotel are very polite. They have allowed us to check in very early as our plane landed at 7:40 am. Aisha came to pick us up from where the taxi dropped us. They have provided mint tea and cookies as we came in which was a sweet surprise. All in all it was a great experience as the Riad was walkable to the Souks and to the Medina. The room we stayed and the whole Riad were very picturesque of a true Moroccan culture.
Lovely traditional riad in the heart of the souks/real, raw downtown Marrakesh. Traditionally furnished and original features. Simple but with true Marrakesh character. Hosts lovely and helpful but not in your face. They arranged airport transport both ways with a lovely driver....making it easy to find the tucked away riad as owner came to meet me from the car to walk me to the riad. Lovely peaceful rooftop where you can relax and listen to the birds singing. Shops selling water nearby and a nice little coffee vendor selling freshly brewed spiced Moroccan coffee within 1' of riad. Exotic bathroom in the biggest room (suite) which I stayed in which is not on a main drag in the souk but with the windows open - you will hear (during peak souk times) the ubiquitous scooters running around in the nearby back alleys. Windows shut and air con on - very quiet. Spotlessly cleaned everyday and lovely white, crisp towels every day which Aisha the host artfully designs into beautiful swans/animals on the bed every day. Highly recommend as EVERYTHING is walking distance. This place is very chilled. I didn't have to get 1 cab during my stay. WILL DEFO RETURN.
Just beautiful and the staff were so helpful and kind. Authentic Riad in the Medina. The Suite was stunning. We had an early morning trip to airport. The kind woman at check in coordinated an early morning pick up. And Mohammed made sure we got to the pick up spot. Keep in mind that the riad is a short walk inside the M there are no cars. It was id about a eblock-nont long. The room was stunning. I stayied in the dSuite room which was beautiful and had an amaznainaing big bath and shower.
A charming room in a riad in great location in theMedina near one of the entrances and a 10 minute walk from Jemaa el Fna square. While not a luxury hotel, Room was comfortable and clean and spacious enough with some nice touches like a robe.
For those for whom it is relevant , note that there is no real table in room
It is is on a tiny side street so it is quiet but also A bit hard to find so recommended to ask them for instructions or photo ahead of time
Overall: An excellent value and highly recommended for those who wish to stay in the medina
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Riad was small but very comfortable, and clean. It’s in a great location, we were able to walk to everything. Great value for money, i would definitely stay here again.
The property is very clean and secluded which gives one a lot of privacy. Also, the staff members (especially Mohamed) is very friendly and accommodating (truly sweet). As I was staying there in June, it was very hot and the A/C inside the Riad was very welcomed.
The folks here were very friendly (if short on language skills) I felt safe in the neighborhood as an older woman. The only real issue was better pillows. Other than that, the showers were hot, plenty of soap & toilet paper, nice decor--lovely roof terrace --great little place

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
I stupidly paid a city tax upon arrival. This was included in the booking. The staff took extre money from us that had already been paid. In my opinion this was deliberate. There was no atmosphere to the Riad and technically this was not a Riad as it had no pool. The roof terrace was very cleverly photographed as in reality it was extremely poor and very unwelcoming. I would not be recommending this Riad to anyone as compared to other Riads we have stayed in for the similar price had friendly staff, better atmosphere, great roof areas and breakfast. Finally the bed was extremely hard and this led to very poor sleep.
Mohamed and Iashia could not have been more helpful..The Riad is right within the Medina less than 10 minutes walk to the main square. ..On arrival we were given Mint tea and biscuits then shown to our room…The room was basic but extremely clean and we were provided fresh towels every day..The whole trip to Marrakesh was definitely and experience..The Moroccan people were very friendly and welcoming hospitable all in all a great country….Anyone and everyone should experience Marrakesh once in their lifetime
