Check-in was a breeze. House was beautiful. Location fantastic. Short drive to the beach. Only downside was the dock which had boards that were lifted, making it unsafe. They came to repair it our 2nd week of the stay. This was a minor issue. Would stay again

Great Stay!

The house is beautiful, comfortable, and in a great location. I especially enjoyed the adequate deck space in the back with views of the canal. We would most definitely return.

Manteo Thanksgiving

This home was lovely. We did have some issues when trying to get access into the house. Code didn't work. After calling and being given additional info, we got in. It was pouring down rain and had very poor phone reception which made it more difficult. Also, had a problem connecting with anyone when preparing to check out about how to handle linens, etc. Overall all it was a good trip. Appreciate the owners being willing to share their home with others. Thank you.

Kings Landing

Kings Landing was a great place to have a two week vacation with some of my family. It has a fantastic location, beautiful sunrises to enjoy from the decks, and a fully equipped kitchen—better than I had anticipated. The windows in the living room and dining area created an almost outdoor feel. There were a few issues. The code provided did not work—and having arrived after the office closed it took a while to get that sorted. Overall the house was clean, except for one of the master showers that had a lot of mold on the shower control and bottom of the door in one bathroom and the shower control in the other MB could not be adjusted. Thankful that the maintenance company addressed that quickly. We later found out that the vent in the kitchen vented into the kitchen and livingroom. And the dryer vent had been disconnected from the wall and was venting into the laundry room. The internet was out about 50% of the time. The first couple of days it was weather related to hurricane Helene so it was understandable but after that it was still bad. Some of us had to work remotely and this created issues. The beds were comfortable but the living room furniture was lacking support and as such was uncomfortable. Also the two jacuzzi tubs had signs “do not use” and one of the tubs couldn’t be filled with water.

Nice home

Pleasant stay.......enjoyed the house and the pictures online accurately depict the appearance and condition of the home. Very clean and well maintained. The least positive comment l have is that I wish there were dish towels available in the kitchen. Otherwise, it was a great home and location, and we would return again! :)

The house was perfect for both families under one roof. Plenty of room, kitchen well equipped pretty clean. Location was great. Pool and hot tub could have been cleaner. Miscommunication made check in a little difficult but once everything was straightened out we had a good stay.

Nice stay

The house was lovely, matched the photos and it was a great location. Amenities at the complex were great and easy to get around. Communication with the property management company was not great with ongoing challenges. Payments and checkin info was overly complicated and would only resend rental agreement when questions were asked. Linens and towels were poor quality and the drapes and blinds in the basement rooms let in all the light - if you are impacted by light in the morning expect to wake up very early.

Wonderful Stay

We just returned from a wonderful week at Kings Landing. It was great! Our only complaint is we would have loved a gas grill :) The location is perfect. Our kids loved the Pirates Cove amenities, and we loved that the beach was so close. The house had everything we needed, but we rented beach chairs and umbrellas. Overall it was a wonderful trip and the house was perfect for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 children).

We were so impressed with the location, amenities, and condition of this beautiful home! Everything was just as pictured and we were able to do lots of walking and access the beaches and shops within 10 minutes. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again soon!

What a great place to stay at?

We were amazed by the beauty and cleanliness of this house. Our family rented this home for the Thanksgiving holiday, so we were shocked to see that the house really had all the pots and pans we needed to pull off our special dinner!. We would rent this home again in a heartbeat, because it's hard to satisfy 6 adults and 3 kids with no complaints. We will be back and soon!
