The hotel has had some renovations done to the rooms. The bed was comfortable and very clean. Bathroom was small and the sink was old. The room was none smoking but the room smelt like smoke when we walked in. Once the air conditioner was one the smell did go away. Breakfast had a nice variety, scrambled eggs, sausage, Belgian waffles, bagels, yogurt, juice & coffee

Days Inn

The first room the AC and fridge did not work, when people smoked outside the smell floated into the room. I lost food in the fridge. The staff moved me to a different room, no problem. The next room was much better but the fridge still did not work, lost about $50 worth of food, when I confronted the staff they showed me there was a light switch by the door that needed to be in the on position for the refrigerator to work. There are no signs telling you this. I have asked for the manager to speak with for the last 4 days, the staff suggested I leave a negative review.

Beds were comfortable, shower was warm, poorly remodeled and mildly dirty. Can’t drink the water in the room tastes horrible but water filter in lobby, toilet not attached to floor, wall heat/ac unit didn’t really work, hear neighbors loud and clear, breakfast was mediocre. No one around to clean up at breakfast time. Probably over priced

Our bathroom baseboards were coming off the wall and looked like rotten wood. Who ever painted the bathroom did a terrible job. Paint spills all over, but most of all I loved how the bathroom door when opened hung up on the shower rod which was a curved rod. The bathroom was the tiniest I have ever been in. It was nothing like the picture it shows on the ad. The a/c goes off and on continually and sounded like an airplane taking off in your room. I definitely will stay somewhere else when I go back to Wooster and Comfort Suites are normally where I stay because they are clean and comfortable.

The staff at the desk were fairly nice but seemed brand new and like it was their first day ( couldn't have been everyone's first day?). Most ( 3-4 ) of the staff I spoke to didn't seem to have a functional grasp of the language. If you want coffee/breakfast the coffee is worse than instant the eggs are powder, the waffle thing was a mess etc,etc,etc. The carpets hold years of stains and odors. Pool area was ok. No exhaust fan in the bathroom and I am 190 pounds normal guy and I couldn't close the bathroom door unless I got tight to the bathtub and get the door past my self. The exhaust fan in the bathroom? We were there 8 nights and they didn't offer us anything unless we asked so we just got clean towels and TP refills and just didn't expect our room to be cleaned. You get a little less than what you pay for but for around 125$ per night I guess it's what we get these days.
